I have been at this hotel for the last week and half. My room is very spacious. I love the charm of this remarkable property. The staff is absolutely amazing. Some of the staff doesn't speak great English, but we make it work. I would definitely return. The food in the restaurant is delicious. And the wine selection is amazing!...

We (2 couples an d a 5 year old) stayed here at the end of a week's holiday in Tuscany, before an earlyish flight from Perugia. After a week of intense sun mostly in an around a pool in the open country, this cool thick-walled, vaulted building in a village setting, was a good calm contrast. The staff were exceptionally...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel on our way to Tuscany. It was a pleasant surprise, being grand in its proportions with beautiful domed ceilings throughout, the lobbies being particularly grand and full of character. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, and breakfast was simple but adequate. Our surprise came from the restaurant - the food was...

Very nice hotel. Not the standard 100+ room hotel but a hotel with character. It's an old beautiful building and rooms are a complete mix. Small rooms, huge rooms, rooms with 2 floors, rooms with refurbished bathrooms and rooms with old bathrooms (clean nevertheless). Rooms are a little bit noisy but after there's little movement in the evening and I...

Beautiful building! I spent 9 nights in this hotel. The staff is nice and police, rooms are clean, spacious and well furnished in a sort of rural classical style. The bathroom has everything you'll need and they'll change your towels every day. There's space for your car in a private car park. The restaurant serves good food and breakfast is...

We wanted somewhere convenient to stay before flying out early from Perugia Airport and chose this hotel purely for convenience. We were very pleased to find that the hotel itself is lovely, the staff very helpful and friendly (We were even given a choice of room as there were two very different ones available). One of the dining staff went...

We stayed for a night prior to a flight home from Perugia airport. It was a good choice and we would have happily stayed longer. It makes a great base for Perugia and Assisi as both those towns are pretty demanding to drive around looking for your hotel. It's a lovely building and I agree with TuscanWino's description. As well...

We searched for hotels in and around Perugia as a base of operations for that city as well as Trasimeno, Assisi, and Gubbio. This hit the spot. Parking and access are easy (a big plus in Italy). Rooms are huge and elegant; but, of course, in the bathroom you must walk sideways. This hotel appears to cater more to business...

Hotel Lo Spedalicchio is located in the small village of Ospedalecchio in about 10 kilometres distance from Assisi and Santa Maria degli Angeli. A car is essential as the hotel is difficult to access by public transport. The hotel is in a historic building. The condition is flawless in all areas. The old walls are impressive. Our double room was...

Amazing place, full of character and history. Room was huge! with high ceiling and period furniture - bed was set on a raised platform! Bathroom was a bit small but very high quality. Would highly recommend eating in the restaurant (not many other options in the area) which had really excellent service and superb food. Good, free parking in front...
