We had a great stay. I was staying with my brother and we had booked a twin room, but on arrival we found we had been given a double bed. The staff were a bit reluctant to change it until we made it clear we weren't married then they happily complied. I suspect part of the reason they dragged their... More

This was our 6th time to Bardonecchia, seen the 'La Quiete' many times before, but always seems to be the first to sell out........no surprise at all! The Hotel, was Small, Quirky, Very Clean, & Very Homely, nothing was too much foe the superb owner (Clara) Maro (who is so very funny) or Franco - The Chef is also a... More

Lovely quaint and quirky hotel which is family run and family friendly. Dogs were also allowed. Really enjoyed staying here. Good spread of food in the mornings for breakfast and you can cook your own pancakes. Evening meals, you helped yourself to starters (buffet) style then you were given choices for 2nd and 3rd courses and served at the table.... More

Having stayed here 2 years ago and having a good time we thought we would go back again and yes it was as good ./Sorry to see Mauro head waiter wasn't there due to illness but Cossomo more than made up for it . As usual stay was fantastic, food was excellent and company was great .I would highly recommend... More

If you want a five-star hotel with swimming pool, jacuzzi and fancy chandeliers, then this is not it. However, this is an amazing family run hotel with superb service and personal attention from Clara, Mauro and Cosimo. Food at both breakfast and dinner is both plentiful and delicious. Mauro, the head waiter, had us in stitches every night as he... More

A wonderful family atmosphere creating a relaxed and friendly and very italian experience. Guests were from Italy France and Croatia as well as England and all were there to ski. We arrived early yet there was no problem about getting in to our room, which had a balcony and was traditional in style but comfortable. Clara,Maura and Cosimo could not... More

Both hubbie and I stayed here January 2014 for a weeks skiing. We had previously stayed at a different hotel the year before and we passed La Quiete every morning when we walked to Campo Smith, consequently we decided to book La Quiete for this year and it was the best thing we have done. The staff are brilliant, especially... More

A wonderful place to stay; hospitable, friendly, perfect location, food and wine and service excellent. The waiters, Mauro and Cossimo, provide a brilliant service and also entertainment value! Unfortunately, one of us broke their wrist on the slopes while on location. Clara, her family and staff were fantastic, they dug their car out to take us to the medical centre,... More

We stayed at La Quiete during the last week of summer, a slow week in Bardonecchia when most of the other hotels were shuttered. It was indeed very quiet. The hotel is small and comfortable in a homey kind of way. There are 3 or 4 small, comfortable common sitting areas and a bar near the entry, so there are... More
