We had a great stay at the San Pietro, despite our very lmited Italian, the staff were very understanding, helpful and always fun. The food was good, the room very nice and the pool area lovely. The location is ideal just a few minutes walk from the town and the lake. We will no doubt be returning in the future
What a fab hotel - can’t say enough good things! -Great staff all multi lingual and can’t do enough for you - Lovely pool with jacuzzi - Hotel grounds beautiful landscaped with jasmine, Oleander and lots of others I don’t know! - Delicious breakfast on the roof restaurant - 4 min walk from a large supermarket - 2 min walk down to Bardolino town with all the shops, restaurant and lakeside - Poolside waitron service - Rooms serviced every day sometimes twice! - 30 mins from Verona airport Loved it - Thankyou!
We stayed for 5 nights at the end of August. The hotel is right in the lake town of Bardolino, but on a quiet street so it was not noisy at night. Room very nice, breakfast served on top floor with beautiful views of the lake. There is an outdoor pool with sun beds. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a car park, charge is €5 per day which we didn’t think was bad. Bardolino is fabulous and a great place to stay on Lake Garda.
This is a small 'boutique' style hotel with comfortable and well decorated rooms. Breakfast is served in a beautiful roof top restaurant which overlooks the Lake, providing lovely setting to start off the day. The hotel has its own pool, though it has limited space, and also has spacious garden areas. Located just a short walk into the town centre in one direction, and a short stroll to the lakeside in the other, it is in the most perfect location.
We stayed here on a recommendation from a friend, it is a hotel very popular with Germans as is rather resort of bardolino who can easily reach here by car. Hotel is a proper traditional Italian place completes with an outdoor swimming pool, very clean, rooms were nice and we really liked it. We didn’t east in the hotel but you could and the menu look good. Rooms at the front with a balcony were true best option and have a limited view over the lake. Breakfast was good and a good selection. My only comment was the staff could have been more helpful and friendly not a real problem but there was just something missing. However saying that we would return again. In our time at Lake Garda this was one of the best locations on the lake in my opinion, as it was accessible to the rest of the lake. Restuarants, pizza and excellent wine and food here was so good. Also other resorts are accessible in a day trip including the other more alpine end of the lake. We will defiantly be back. We travelled in end may /june and it was good for exploring as not every day was roasting, but equally I could see summer being really good here.…
An excellent stay in this wonderful hotel which is only a very short walk to the centre of town. In my opinion this is not for children, but they would love the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. We received a nice warm and friendly welcome on arrival from Alessia, along with a cold glass of water. Staff throughout our stay were very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well each night. It had air conditioning, a safe and fridge containing bottled water that was replaced daily. The choice of food at breakfast along with the views from the rooftop restaurant were superb. Bardolino is a great location for getting on the ferry boats to visit other towns on the Lake. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes are located all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. There is limited but secure car parking available which should be ‘booked’ before arrival. I would definitely stay here again. …
We’ve stayed at this hotel before and wasn’t disappointed with our return. The staff couldn’t look after us better, we booked a standard room and was moved to a mini exec room (with extra costs of course) with no hassle. The breakfast restaurant on the top floor offers nice views over the lake, there are trees in the way but you can’t blame the hotel for this minor issue, the maitre d has things running like clockwork and always with a friendly smile and time to chat. I would recommend the restaurant one evening on the top floor, nothing is too much trouble for the chefs as my husband wasn’t hungry and they obliged with minestrone soup with no hassle, my steak is now in the top 10 steaks ever eaten ! Allessia on the reception was very helpful with our trip organisation, we’re just a little sorry we didn’t get back in time to give her a personal thank-you. When we look at some of the other hotels in the area we would book the San Pietro again with no hesitation next time we are in Bardolino, it’s a few minutes walk from the main streets, close to shops, and well proportioned…
Had a lovely, relaxing stay at this great hotel. Literally a couple of minutes walk from the centre, yet so peacefully located. Initially we were bit disappointed by the size of the room but once we settled in and unpacked we were fine. Breakfast was delightful with a great selection. Staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. We loved the pool area which always had a shaded place to relax (it was hot whilst we were there). Aircon in room was very good. Views from room poolside were limited due to trees in the gardens opposite so, if we stayed again, we would definitely opt for a room on the 3rd floor (we were on 1st floor). Lounge/bar area was very comfortable and a nice environment to have a drink and read a book. We hired bikes for the day from the hotel and it was an easy cycle to neighbouring Garda and Lazise. We visited Zeni Wine Museum which was about 25 minute walk (up hill) but well worth it. Hotel organised airport transfers for us and the drivers were very professional and friendly so this was well worth it (18 Euro per passenger each way). Overall, a great holiday in a lovely well run hotel in beautiful Bardolino. Would definitely return. Thank you Palace Hotel San Pietro…
We really liked the very good food at the hotel restaurant! The pool is nice and big enough. But the very expensive rooms (round about 280€ for a suite) are not that clean!!!! We were really disappointed by the bathroom!!! Reception girls very unfriendly!!!! They gave us a strange feeling like, please do not disturb us!!!
Perfectly proportioned perfectly placed hotel in the centre of Bardolino that is literally a 2 minute walk to a multitude of restaurants and bars. A good looking hotel with some very nice rooms. We opted for an 'elegant room' on the 3rd floor, above the pool with a nice balcony and some great views of the lake. A very tidy clean and well kept hotel, an excellent bar man named Angelo and very helpful reception staff. La Terrazza, the restaurant is on the top floor (4) with some very good breakfasts inc some excellent cold meats, fruits, yoghurt etc and really good breads. There is bacon and the chef will cook you eggs although smiling is something he's working on ! Euro plan is around 150m down the road turning left out of the hotel where you can book trips and excursions at a good price, much cheaper than your rep will sell them at if you have a rep and they use the same company ! There is also a Spa supermarket down the road, around 200 meters that you can get most snacks and wine etc for your room. Some great restaurants in the centre with quite a lot of excellent sea food and some stranger additions including Pike ! If your love is pizza then this is the place for you and they are excellent. A great place to stay, Bardolino is a beautiful small town and you can easily visit the other towns, Garda is a short ferry ride away and at a cost of €3. Food and drink are not the cheapest in Italy, a beer is €5 and a meal out for 2 in a moderate restaurant with starter and main and a glass of wine around €60 to €70. The restaurants don't tend to deal in €1 and €2 euro coins they like €5's and €10's best 🤗 The only drawback for me was the weather, unpredictable with frequent rain on an evening when we were there. All that said, we loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it for a great stay with one word of advice, bring mosquito repellent because there are quite a few and they love foreign food ! …
