We did a Rent-Ride-Relax holiday booked through Holimites (see separate review) at the Ustaria Posta, adding a couple of days at the beginning directly through the hotel. All together a fantastic experience in all regards, and I can't say enough good things about the Ustaria Posta. We (four of us) each had separate rooms, and prices were very reasonable, particularly when including bike rental through Holimites. I'm not sure that I'd call the hotel luxurious, but it's very nice and very clean. The staff at the Ustaria Posta, were very friendly and accomodating. You get the sense of a family run hotel (it is), which really understands the meaning of maximizing the experience of their clients. We ate most of our meals at the hotel using the fixed price menu, and were never disappointed. The meals were different every night, and always excellent. Breakfast included everything needed to fuel for a day of riding in some of the most beautiful country you'll ever see. I would return in the blink of an eye.

Perfect place to base yourself to tackle some of the amazing cols in the Dolomites. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well appointed accommodation. Makes an ideal centre for a hiking holiday too! Loved it

Visiting the Dolomites for some cycling, I wanted to stay in a place where they intimately know and love cycling, and Ustaria Posta is that place. Everything was made easy. Excellent routes provided and suggestions tailored to the weather and conditions. Even as a vegetarian, meals were good and plentiful. Wet shoes dried, clothes washed, excellent facility for storing the bike and a bucket of hot water for washing it after a filthy ride. Welcomed like a friend. Couldn't ask for more. I arrived in an electric car and while with a long extension cable I could have charged there, Igor is also working on having specific chargers installed.

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Ustaria with my husband and three children. Igor and his family who run the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating to us. My son (age 4) likes very plain food, and they were very friendly and made him plain pasta at a slightly earlier time than the rest of us, as he was so tired after a days skiing that he was struggling to stay awake! The food was really lovely and the two elder girls loved everything that was put in front of them. Breakfasts were also great, with a great choice of fresh bread and pastries. What I couldn't get over was how every single member of staff said 'hello' to us, smiled and made us feel really welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully well maintained in a traditional style. It is a very short walk to the slopes and they have a ski boot room with dryer. We love this hotel and this part of the Dolomites. The local ski school is really excellent, as it the ski hire which we secured through SkiTop. Thank you Igor and family.

Dear Zoe, thank you for the nice words. We are not a luxury hotel but we try our best to make our guest feel like we really care about them. That is, we think, the real luxury. Hope to have you and your family back at Ustaria Posta soon for some skiing ... and why not ... cycling too 😉. Igor

I don’t think I’ve stayed in a hotel with such friendly feeling and fantastic level of service. You can tell that the family lives through their hotell and it’s guests. We we’re always met by the family or staff with a big smile and a hello. If you have a question or a problem, the fix it. The hotell is also the water hole for the locals who take a coffe in the morning and afternoon with a friendly sorl in the bar. The breakfast and dinner is home made and is generous and really nice. Especially the home made Tiramisu. This is the second time we visit the hotell - once in the summer and now in the winter. Works perfect for both. One can reach the nearby lift with a short walk or with the skibus. We will be back for sure!
