This is a perfect hotel in Sardinia . First of all the location is superb. Amaizing place and service ,nice staff , they are very kind and helpful, food is very delicious ,I hope i come back soon had a wonderful experience.
Poltu Quatu is not your standard Sardininan luxury Hotel. First of all, it's setting is a one-of-a-kind the Hotel overlooks its own bay – rather a fjord actually – transformed in a very charming Marina, the best hub to explore the beauties of Costa Smeralda and nearby Maddalena islands. The core of the Hotel, and its design landmark, is the grand pool with waterfall and an arched bridge that casts a welcome shade in the hottest hours. This said, there's no direct access to the beach, but Hotel guests have access and free shuttle to selected private beaches in the Costa Smeralda. I have been a returning customer for the last five years and found the rooms very comfortable – I am speaking of the basic ones, but I've seen the presidential suite and it's gorgeous. The decoration is just neat, but sound proofing and air conditioning – which keeps the room at 19,5 Celsius throughout – are top. Breakfast is served at the restaurant overlooking the Marina and has an amazing variety of sweets and bakery product, an amazing muesli buffet, fresh fruit, plus it serves the usual egg dishes on demand. Being a guest of the Poltu Quatu Classic Concourse d'Elegance, I have mostly enjoyed banquet dinners (for 100+ guests) With that, I must say, food quality was always outstanding. The atmosphere of the Grand Hotel at Poltu Quatu is very relaxing: the setting is simply charming, yet elegant, staff is professional and at the same time relaxed. I wouldn't want to miss my Poltu Quatu experience and look forward to being there again next year.…
The place to stay when traveling to Sardinia. High quality all around, good insulated rooms, air conditioning works perfectly, irreproachable cleanliness. As if the geography of the place wasn’t enough to win you over (the hotel is nestled at the far end of a natural marina, so the other best way to arrive here is aboard a yacht) you also get impeccable service from the staff (always ready to answer to any query or to assist you). Compared to a previous visit, it needs to be said that the cuisine has also improved, so really struggling to find a negative thing to say. Highly recommended overall!
I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the hotel, and the maintenance of the marina and all the surrounding areas was well taken care of. The cuisine while looking at the ocean is also exceptional. It is suited for multi-day stays, and the rooms are ready to accommodate them. マリーナをはじめ、周辺の整備も行き届いており、大満足です。海を見ながらの料理も格別です。数日間の滞在に向いており、部屋もそのような対応がなされている。
Nice hotel with very nice atmosphere. You should rent a car if you like going to the beach. Whatever you do dont rent electric scooters at the hotel. Its cheaper to rent a Ferrari. You can visit a lot good restaurants In walking distanse from the hotel
We came on a Monday afternoon to this very quiet and calm part of Sardinia. Nobody outside to greet and meet or help with bags until the desk. The check in was as formal as one can be. No smiles no welcome. The information given by the desk was at zero. I think they expect everyone to know their ways around. The WiFi code not working or named. We then walked a small mile to our cute mezzanine room with a small cute terrace .. room and bathroom clean. Beds very hard not comfortable to sleep on. To avoid the scheduled beach transfers situation that is a absolute joke to Beginn with as one still has to book ahead. The beach in question is worth going to and offers nice and friendly service. We had dinner at the Tanit restaurant that is a must if you stay at the hotel & the surrounding is quite romantic around the hotel. Breakfast has a lovely view but is quite low key on warm food offers. In general the staff especially the concierges were helpful. The hotel is in some way of the beaten path For a 3 min drive one gets charged between 35-40 euro. This is a daily double so count in 80 euro per day if you wanna go to Porto Cervo. Getting a transfer or a taxi is a absolute pain. One just wasted time waiting and waiting. To come to the finale on our final day at 9:55 our room gets stormed by „the minibar man“ who didn’t knock!!! He refused to leave the room after being asked to get out several times. My friend is meanwhile hiding naked behind the door until he finally left. His comment was !!!You check out I wanna see the mini bar!!!! What in the world is wrong with this place? Who does that?! Nobody should start the day like that! We booked our transfer to the airport trough the hotel. Came to check out left our bags barely found them again. And Of course the transfer was late 15min. It’s a shame as nothing happens on time or is truly organized. I can only recommend to anyone to either rent a car or drive down to Sardinia by car. In general - I don’t know why - but seams nothing worked out for us without a hassle.…
My husband and I love to travel the world. We have been to many counties and I have never in my life felt so unwelcome. We aren’t cheap and love supporting the bars and restaurants at the hotels we stay at. We’re very friendly and respectful. Unfortunately this hotel is not. From the second we pulled up to check in they were very unfriendly. When we checked in they basically walked us to our room, handed us the keys and left. We were told nothing about the property. They also didn’t tell us we needed a reservation for not just their restaurant but every restaurant near by. We ended up having to drive to a super market just to make sandwiches for dinner. At the pool, the bartenders are short with you and also smug (no matter how much you spend). We were kicked out of the pool within an hour (6pm) because there was a wedding. They parked our car in the lot and blocked us in so we couldn’t get out unless we had a pass to access the gate. We asked them if we should park there again and they told us to park in the same spot THEY originally parked us in when we arrived. The next morning we went to our car to find a nasty printed out note asking us where we learned how to drive and they should tow us. Reminder: THEY PARKED US THERE AND TOLD US TO PARK THERE WHEN WE RETURNED. The next day we spent away we from the hotel to try and avoid them ruining our trip. I’m so glad we did!!!! I will definitely never stay there again. Take your money elsewhere. It’s a gorgeous island with so many options to stay. Non venire qui se sei americano o non parli italiano!!!Mio marito ed io adoriamo viaggiare per il mondo. Siamo stati in molte contee e non mi sono mai sentito così sgradito in vita mia. Non siamo economici e amiamo supportare i bar e i ristoranti degli hotel in cui soggiorniamo. Siamo molto amichevoli e rispettosi. Purtroppo questo hotel non lo è. Dal secondo in cui ci siamo fermati per il check-in sono stati molto ostili. Quando abbiamo fatto il check-in ci hanno praticamente accompagnato nella nostra camera, ci hanno consegnato le chiavi e se ne sono andati. Non ci è stato detto nulla della proprietà. Inoltre, non ci hanno detto che avevamo bisogno di una prenotazione non solo per il loro ristorante ma per tutti i ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo finito per dover guidare in un supermercato solo per preparare i panini per la cena. In piscina, i baristi sono a corto con te e anche compiaciuti (non importa quanto spendi). Siamo stati cacciati dalla piscina entro un'ora (18:00) perché c'era un matrimonio. Hanno parcheggiato la nostra auto nel parcheggio e ci hanno bloccato in modo da non poter uscire a meno che non avessimo un pass per accedere al cancello. Abbiamo chiesto loro se dovevamo parcheggiare di nuovo lì e ci hanno detto di parcheggiare nello stesso punto in cui ci avevano originariamente parcheggiato quando siamo arrivati. La mattina successiva siamo andati alla nostra macchina per trovare una brutta nota stampata che ci chiedeva dove abbiamo imparato a guidare e dovrebbero trainarci. Promemoria: CI HANNO PARCHEGGIATO LÌ E CI DETTO DI PARCHEGGIARE LÌ QUANDO SIAMO TORNATI. Il giorno successivo abbiamo trascorso lontano dall'hotel per cercare di evitare che rovinassero il nostro viaggio. Sono così felice di averlo fatto!!!! Sicuramente non ci tornerò mai più. Porta i tuoi soldi altrove. È un'isola meravigliosa con così tante opzioni in cui soggiornare.…
The staff made this hotel. From the receptionists to the pool guys (so many thanks to Andrea’s and Jessepe). And the resteraunt stall. Super professional and attentive. The main maitredie runs a tight ship with fab staff. Rooms have Ausome views and are aloes clean (use the DND sign ad ness as the hotel is always on the go). We saw a few wedding parties which were fascinating and glamorous and totally unintrussive. Loads of great places to eat including the hotel. The team at the omelet bar deserve a special mention as they set the day off great.
I stayed here in May 2022, throughout the entire stay we were all severely disappointed with the quality of the service given the prices we were paying to stay there. For starters, when the room would be “cleaned” - we never had fresh towels given to us during the stay, never had the mini bar renewed with water, one of our sinks wouldn’t unplug and was full of dirty water… they never bothered to fix it. To top it off, I left a dress hanging in the closet and called immediately the day after to claim this with the expectation of it being mailed to me. When I called, not only did no one seem to care about my missing item, they “had found nothing left in the room…” I called every week for the following 3 weeks, 3x a time a week, every time someone telling me they would call back in 10 minutes. One month on, NO ONE has ever called me back!! Horrendous horrendous service, and to be told that my dress was no where to be found?! I’m sorry but this hotel is absolutely awful and can only assume my dress has been taken by a staff member. DO NOT STAY here, not worth the money.…
I stayed at this hotel for a week with a friend. Our holiday was first class. The hotel was beautiful.The architecture was a delight. I couldnt stop my eyes from wandering and found a new quirky, artistic display every time I looked. The hotel was very clean with sanitizers available. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a huge choice. The chefs and waiters were very pleadant and we felt very well looked after. The rooms were pleasant and we had a balcony overlooking the smart yachts in the bay.A special treat to wake up to each morning. The pool was very nice and well maintained with good quality loungers. One of the hotels main assets were the staff. All staff were polite and very friendly and willing to help.In my opinion, three need a special mention. Jan Gianandres one of the main receptionists was very helpful and was knowledgeable about the locality.He made our stay stress free and would always have time to answer any queries. Francesco the executive housekeeper was friendly and welcoming and would always have time to acknowledge guests. Stephano the under manager was very special.He was professional ,friendly and polite and he certainly went the 'extra mile.'He made our stay perfect. He is an extremely valuable member of the team and in my opinion a great asset.His manner was diamond class. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Jeannie…
