This is not an idyllic Tuscan villa!! Despite what previous reviewers have said the separate annex is dark, gloomy and poorly equipped. Don't expect to self cater as there is no kettle or usable coffee pot and no bowls for fruit or cereal and I could go on!! The work surfaces are mouldy as is the shower. Toilet seat is... More

My adult daughter and I were visiting Castiglion Fiorintino and stayed here 2 nights. The Residence is a short cab (or bus) ride from Castig. Fiorintino, even though its address is Arezzo. The Residence has at least 2 units and ours was two bedrooms. It could sleep four very easily, perhaps even another on the sofa. The owner, Giulio, was... More

Excellent location, easy to get to, and Guilio was a wonderful host, helping us even before we arrived! The rooms were spacious, kitchens well equipped and beds cozy. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer....but we'll be back soon.

Great facilities, we stayed in the stand-alone cottage which was very comfortable and very well equiped. Great value for money. The host Guilio was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany with so many stunning hill-top medieval towns nearby. Would recommend it to anyone.

My family and I stayed at the Residance in the beggining of October. The place is beautiful! The rooms are huge, perfect both for family trips or for a romantic couple vacation. The place make you feel like home! Gulio, the owner of the place is the sweetest! He was willing to help us at every question and request we... More

My family stayed at Antica Villa for 9 days in June and loved it. We travelled around Tuscany and into Umbria by car, as well as visiting the lovely city of Arezzo. We also went by train to Florence. Antica Villa is very centrally located for this type of travel and to two major train stations. The villa is charming... More

this is a rustic little villa near Arezzo. we found the amenties were fine but a little basic. definitely a place to relax as it is off the beaten track a little bit. there are some good restaurants in nearby Castiglion Fiorentino and Arezzo. our host Guilio was wonderful.
