My wife, two young children and I visited last year. The location within the Walled town of Albenga is superb. Even better is the host Michael. A more genial man I have never met. He bent over backwards to help in every aspect.

We've just returned from a stay we had booked in February directly with the owner, Michael. On arrival, it became apparent that the interior decor and furnishings of the property now bear little resemblance to the photos shown on the website. The owner no longer seems to run the b&b and has handed operations over to a lady called Simona... More

Thank you very much for your feedback. I can confirm that recently the original ownership and management changed at la Torre Cepollini. We were extremely sorry this was not communicated to you prior to your arrival and that your stay was disappointing. I am understand the new management team have seen your review and feedback. Stayed in the tower room, really unique, loved the spa bath. Great central location, about a 12 min walk from the train station and in the middle of all the shops and restaurants of the old town. Definitely take earplugs tho as the street outside was quite noisy (we stayed on a Saturday night). Also I don't think it is... More

I stayed in Torre Cepollini for 4 nights and wished it had been longer, wished I could have had the whole tower to myself(with family and friends of course!), but couldn't have wished for a lovelier time! Michael and Mario were lovely and their attention to detail in their accomodation was great. Torre Cepollini is like experiencing a little part... More

I believe that this B & B is run by an Englishman from Cambridge. It's in a magnificent position. The main Viale ..in the Centro Storico . Via Medaglia D'Oro . It has a MAGIC FEELING. The rooms are beautifully furnished with such good taste. Breakfast is in the lovely old kitchen and lots too eat to. Don't give this... More

I completely echo the other reviews for this place. Lovely rooms, great location and charming host. However, we were staying in the room at the back (not the Tower Room) looking onto the courtyard and the noise of the chiming bells (next to the back courtyard) kept us up every night. They ring twice on the hour and then at... More

We stayed in TC last week for two nights. We had the place to ourself as we had booked all 3 rooms, and Michael came in each morning to provide a great breakfast and entertaining chat! We found the B&B via the Guardian and Sawday travel websites. The building is old but beautifully maintained with lovely furniture, the beds are... More

This delightful B&B is situated in the centra historica of Albenga, city of towers - 'Older than Roma' so the locals say! There are two double rooms, one of which is known as 'the tower bedroom' because it is actually located in the tower of this historic house, and a twin room. The two double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms,... More

This is a beautiful boutique B&B offering lovely accommodation in the heart of Albenga. Michael's hospitality is second to none; his story telling will have you in stitches over a delightful breakfast. The furniture and accessories compliment the building beautifully. Michael has an outstanding knowledge of the area and can help you in choosing how to get the most out... More

Albenga is a city that needs a good week to find all the nooks and crannies plus the surrounding area. The Torre Cepollini, which translates to “The Tower of Count Cepollini”, is 12th century and the house 13th century is an excellent B&B run by Michael who comes from Cambridge. The furniture is excellent and compliments the architecture. Breakfast is... More
