We stayed at Palazzo Finati for the second time during the Truffle festival. We had to book about a year in advance, but we only wanted to stay at this hotel. The staff is very helpful and the room was great. We had the room on the main floor, because all of the rest were already booked. This was a... More

Great location, attractive old building, charming rooms. However, at EURO 230 per night for a 'suite' we were perhaps misled into expecting a real 5 star experience. The plumbing was erratic (no running water on arrival) the 'jacuzzi' showers rather disappointing, toiletries and refreshments nothing special (and no kettle and tea or coffee provided in the 'standard' room at EUR... This year is perhaps our fifth time at Palazzo Finati and it continues to be one of the places in the region that we enjoy returning to. It is very small, just eight or nine rooms, I think, mostly a kind of large junior suite. Some of the rooms have balconies with seating, while others have little Juliet balconies. Bathrooms... More

Palazzo Finati is an old hotel in central Alba. The location was great and the morning breakfast was very nice. The rooms are spacious. There is parking at night for a couple of cars otherwise you can park in a lot a few minutes from the hotel - but parking on the street can be tricky to find during the... More

A very nice hotel with great atmosphere and spacious rooms. The hosts are very friendly and provide a relaxing and familial atmosphere. The only downside is a small and non friendly shower, but this is a minor issue compared to the all positive experience

This hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance away from the busy center of Alba. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. This hotel is not a Palazzo, but more a "palazzinino", the room was a little small, the bathroom too. The shower had limited functionality. The bed was small and too soft for my old back. The breakfast... More

We came to Alba several times, for the White Truffles Festival, starting usually mid-October. It's a great time to visit the region. Each and every time, we stayed in this charming boutique hotel. It's very centrally located both to explore the small town of Alba and to discover the surrounding wine region, from Barolo to Barbaresco. The rooms on the... More

We enjoyed a four day stay in Alba very much, not least because of the charms of this hotel. The location is excellent - all you would want to see in Alba is within easy walking distance, yet it is on a quiet street. Good luck finding it without satnav! There is limited parking at the hotel, but a huge... More

A well run, boutique hotel with comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom in the centre of Alba. The service was good, and they were happy to give us breakfast earlier than usual as we had a long drive ahead of us. They have a small parking at the back of the hotel.
