I arrived at Alassio from Nice by train. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the station through the cobbled streets down to the Western end of the beach. The position is pretty good for the sea and the town. I really wanted to love the family run Mediterranee. It suffers from a bit of Italian "Star Inflation". It... More

I honestly have mixed feelings about my stay at Mediterranee. The hotel is fantastically located by Alassio budello and its private beach, which is finely tended. The crew is kind and attentive. And this is all about the positive side. There were no really negative peaks, but a long series of smaller things bringing my appreciation of the experience down:... More

My husband and I booked a room with balcony and sea view for one night for our anniversary for 145 euros. When we arrived, having booked parking at 20 euros per night, we needed information about where to go. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful, bossy and demanding so our first impression was poor. I saw a promotion of a manicure... More

This must be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We thought we outdoor treat ourselves to luxury overnight stop. The hotel was old and tired. The staff were totally indifferent to the point of rudeness and the restaurant a great disappointment. We booked a superior balcony room with sea view. What a waste of money

The staff was extremely nice and professional: top marks for their capacity to go the extra mile to accommodate us and look after our needs (it was my wife's birthday and they procured the roses and flowers requested upon check in). The issue is the structure itself: it is old... Too old. The cot had to be changed because it... More

Just back from holiday to this lovely hotel. Room had sea view. Hotel a bit dated but think this added to its charm. Staff all very pleasant and restaurant staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet was totally adequate. Evening meal let down a little by main course. Starter was lovely, second course either soup or pasta, and sweet all lovely but... More

Soooooo please I booked this hotel. Managed to put a tick onto my bucket list of laying in bed, able to see & hear the sea and be able to watch a sunrise out of the window over the sea. Booked into a superior double room with sea view and balcony. When we arrived we had been upgraded to a... More

Great location on the seafront and easy walking to the main areas, this is a quiet location despite being on the sea promanade. Dated and a bit quirky in places as any hotel can be it was immaculately clean throughout and very presentable. Good, obliging staff, and a well appointed room. Many rooms have balconies and sea views. Our room... More

Loved our stay here, enjoyed breakfast loved all the staff. We didnt enjoy the resturant though as there wasnt much selection of food and was not in our price range. The rooms we stayed in werent as amazing as we thought, everything in them was very outdated and didnt suit the rest of the hotel. During our stay we also... More
