How wonderful to enter a place as a stranger but then feel like family by the time you leave. This is how the Galtieri family and the staff deliver service at the Hotel Aida. The Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the clean, tranquil sea where there are lovely restaurants and shops along the way and cabanas, beach chairs...

I booked the hotel by phone and the manager was so trusting he didnt even want a deposit. We booked 2 rooms and ended up with an appartement and another 2 rooms with an ajoining bathroom. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I will certainly return

I have been to the Hotel Aida many times, and it will always have a special place in my heart. Visiting Alassio is like visiting the real Italy...not the tourist Italy (which most of the larger cities like Florence, Venice, Rome, et al have become). When you visit the Hotel Aida, you feel like you are staying with your long...

Everything perfect in this hotel even though it doesn't have a sea view. Located about 8 min walk from Alassio train station. Easy to drag your suitcase. Big room and big bed. Comfortable enough to sleep though the bed was a little bit hard for me but we slept well. Entering the room, I feel like going home to visit...

we also spent a very happy Christmas at the Aida, and endorse everything said by the previous reviewer. The standard of food was outstanding and the staff so helpful and courteous. Alassio itself is a lovely resort, chic but in a restrained, charming way, not vulgar. We would certainly return. Giovanni and his brother Angelo worked tirelessly to ensure that...

Have just returned from spending the Christmas holiday at the Hotel Aida. Nothing was too much trouble for the family who own the hotel. The rooms are spotless and daily cleaning was meticulous. Over the holiday period the guests were treated like family, indeed, on Christmas eve and Christmas day the family joined the guests for a super Italian festive...

I really enjoy beach holidaying in Italy - it's completely different to any other beach holiday you'll have. The best way to enjoy your Italian holiday is to go full board, that way you have all your meals sorted with no wandering around aimlessly looking for somewhere to eat. With that little header done, I'll now review the hotel. This...

We have just returned from a GREAT weekend in this Italian Style hotel. A great spot at the heart of Alassio, with an internal parking lot, about 200 meters from the beach. But, the service is one of the best we had in a hotel ! The food was great...the chefs there are doing a great job and do not...

Hotel in the city centre 200m from seaside. Good internal parking space (a real premium bonus if you know average parking space on Liguria towns). Spacious hotel with very good internal common areas. Nice breakfast and good restaurant. landlord is keen on organizing theme evenings with music. Name and some of furniture are inspired to Classical Opera. People are very...

Not bad value for money, hotel was in a great location, no sea view but a short walk from the beach and town. Room was clean but no bath in bathroom and no duvet on the bed, just a thin sheet. Staff were ok, breakfast was poor.
