Family run B&B with a warm and friendly ambience throughout. Very helpful e-mails in perfect english, were sent to us to assist our arrival. ( take the little unmarked track behind & to the left of the 24hr petrol station!) We enjoyed the delightful tasty home-made delights for breakfast, served at individual tables and beautifully presented upon fresh linen tablecloths....

We had a superb experience in the Villa San Marco. First, the location is just unique, in the middle of the Valley of the Temple, with a direct view on the ruins, but far from any touristic crowds. Then, the place by itself is just beautiful, with a superb, old building surrounded by vegetation and history. The room by itself...

Found this treasure on booking.com and no regrets. It is so tranquil and peaceful with a pond, pool, peacocks, plants and amazing view of valley of the temples. Owners are so sweet and kind as well. Open room used by guest with cards, chess set, and seating area. Also offered us beer, snacks, and wine all based on integrity just...

I recommend this place to anyone, families, couples, friends or lone travellers alike. An amazing location within the "valley of the temples" and what the lovely owners turned the property into is just stunning. Such a warm, cozy feel outdoors and indoors that most rentals (b&b's, apartments, houses etc. alike) aspire to but never reach. The amenity of the overall...

The place is hard to find but the sms/email you will receive will lead you to the right destination... and what a place ! From the terrace, you will see few monuments of the valley of the temples. Breakfast is served with excellent home-made local products, explained by Vincenzo (speaking english and french... very well indeed), the owner of the...

This is the place for relaxation, where you can eat well and sleep well. I just love everything about the house, the owners are so nice, the surrounding of the house is great and the view of the 3 temples is just amazing, specially in the evening when you drink your wine in the front of the house and look...

It is difficult to overstate how lovely this villa is. The approach is down a country track(which could be tricky after heavy rain) but the owners do all they can to direct you. Once there you will not regret it. A beautiful old traditional villa with peacocks, swimming pool and tremendous views. The family are wonderful and friendly and the...

If I could give a higher score than 5, I would. Very quiet, peaceful, paradise-like. Fabulous view of the ruins!! VERY sweet, helpful hosts. Honor system for bottles of wine, free books to read. Beautiful peacocks walking around. Delicious breakfasts! Lovely room. Free, safe parking! Not only would we return but we would make a special trip to stay there...

This is really a place to stay for a few days and enjoy this oasis of peace, yet close to the city. Very cosy in the nature, you really feel at home. And the italian breakfast is amazing. Thanks to Vincenzo and family.

I only found this place at the last minute. I stayed one night on a visit to see the ruins. What a pleasure. After a long drive it was such a pleasure to be welcomed into this little oasis. Nice rooms. Beautiful garden with pool overlooking the ruins. There was an honesty bar with beers and wine- very reasonable prices....
