I cannot add more to what is already written about Dario, the proprietor/host of the villa. For example, our fellow travel companion had a crown come loose. Dario to the rescue. He called his private dentist in Empedocle and arranged an appointment for the very next day. The dentist took our friend in and within a few hour or so,... More

Very beautiful family home, turned into a B&B. Great host ( Dario Spadaro ) Always ready to help , answer questions, show maps to nearby sites, etc. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Felt like royalty sitting at the table, eating out of fine chinaware. Highly recommend to stay at this location. Free parking in a secured area. Also enjoyed... More

What a treat it was to stay in Villa Diana. Dario was a fabulous host, obviously very experienced with visitors from around the world. His directions/hand drawn map to the villa as well as to the ruins and restaurants were very helpful. Otherwise it would be very confusing to navigate. The rooms were beautifully decorated and it was a nice... More

We were thrilled with Villa Diana. This beautiful structure has been lovingly renovated and is filled with fascinating antiques. Our host was warm, informative, and full of interesting stories about the home, the countryside, Agrigento, and the Valle di Tempi. Our room was beautiful, exquisitely decorated. The bathroom was luxurious, with fluffy robes and slippers for our use. And breakfast!... More

Villa Diana and its Owner offer a very special stay to visit Agrigento city and the temple sites. Just 10 minutes away from the temples and down town Agrigento. Dario, the owner, is very carrying and has his own little farm right next to the hotel. Lots of the tasty food we got for breakfast were homemade - like the... More

My wife and I stayed at Villa Diana on June 28, 2016. We were very warmly welcomed by Dario, the proprietor. As we came to Agrigento by car from the east, we got stuck, without the GPS, on the eastern outskirts of town which was much larger and more difficult to navigate than we ever thought. When we stopped at... More

Dario welcomed us to his home and our well appointed rooms at this great location close to Valley of Temples and outside of town away from the crowds. He even helped us with use of his washing machine for some very travel worn clothes! Breakfast was great with wonderful choices. Delicious fresh honey, goat cheese, etc. each morning. Very attentive.

Getting to Villa Diana was easier than trying to decipher the signs to Valley of the Temples. As another reviewer said "Don't judge this place by the exterior". And even though the exterior could use some tender loving care, including the "driveway" from the entrance gate.....the interior IS beautiful,. I think Dario said the Villa was purchased around 1950 and... More

Believe in the road signs! The location really is kilometre 5.4 on the SS122 on the right hand side of the road heading East away from Agrigento. Every kilometre you get a large sign and in between smaller signs generally every 100 metres. For Villa Diana this will appear as IV / 5. I am being specific as I would... More
