We stayed at the Mandrova and had just theperfect experience and something new to us. There is no menu but the food is exceptional and beautifully presented. The owners son certainly know how to cook. Dinner in the courtyard with illuminated trees is to die for. There was some background noise from the road but nothing to shout about and... More

Getting to the Mandranova once in the general area proved a challenge, but after a local helped us find the gate, we entered a relaxing oasis, the perfect spot for our last days in Sicily. The grounds are beautiful with generous common areas to sit in to relax, read, have a glass of wine. Our first night Giuseppe greeted us... More

We had 2 nights and one day on this fabulous agritourismo site close to Agrigento. If we had known how wonderful it was it would have been longer. The rooms are spacious , beautifully decorated and quiet. The setting is just gorgoeus, on a working olive farm which has been in the same family for hundreds of years, and makes... More

First the positives: Beautiful scenery in olive farm, lovely pool with amazing views, lovely food and wine, quirky rooms perfect for sleeping, fairly close to temples/beaches etc Negatives: No menus for food or drink on display so not clear what is available, service in general was not with a smile - when we asked for the olive oil tour we... We chose this hotel based on wonderful trip advisor and Mr. and Mrs. Smith reviews. We were dumbfounded, once we arrived, to discover that the hotel is 3 m away from the main highway southern Sicily. The noise of cars, trucks and motorcycles is constant. In addition, the hotel is situated in an industrial zone, and there was a pervasive... More

Secluded renovated accommodation on a working olive farm with lovely, small outdoor pool set on hillside with view over the olives. The residential and communal buildings all neatly presented in a traditional style. Large bedroom with view of countryside. Charming hosts who eat with their guests. There is no choice of menu but the cooking is excellent and a little different... More

We have spent a wonderful week in June at the villa La Robazza for a family holliday. The attention to details in the service by the owners and the staff and the way the villa and the main house are kept and decorated are excellent - over and above the norme. We thouroughly enjoyed the pool, the cookery lesson, the... More

Our short stay was generally very positive. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, the pool pleasant and the food tasty as well as being very reasonably priced. The staff were also very friendly and hospitable, we enjoyed the company of the other guests and the sociable, informal dining style. It's a great, slow place to switch off and relax, fortunately... Very peaceful hotel in the hills - though be aware there is a highway nearby that can make things slightly noisy. The swimming pool is very small but with great location literally in the middle of the hills. It is best to have dinner in hotel, as the food is very good and the restaurant setting is nice and quaint.... More

If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing country retreat, which combines the traditional with cosy, stylish and modern attention to detail and if you don't mind meeting some amazing people over mouthwatering food paired with fantastic wine and mind-blowing olive oil. Go no further. The only thing I could complain about - our stay was too short :)... More
