The hotel gives exclusive access to the Valley of the Temples. Besides that, it is a very relaxing and quiet hotel. Great pool, excellent terrace restaurant overlooking the Temples. Loved it and would go back. Breakfast was one of the best of the whole trip. Free wifi.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as part of a 8-day 'driving through Sicily' holiday, and it was fantastic. The staff were all warm and friendly, the room was exceptional and we had a delux room with a temple view, which was quite magical. The food has been the best so far on our journey and we will hopefully...

We had an amazing 2 days at Hotel Villa Athena. There was a very friendly check in and we were walked to our room by one of the ladies on reception. We had a room near to the pool with a nice sun terrace outside. Room was large and had all the amenities you'd expect. The air conditioning worked well...

This hotel is the real thing! It is pricey, but worth every penny. Once we arrived the staff was exceptional. Well trained and understood everything I needed from having a converter for the phone to the delicious treats left in a glass cake dish. I knew I was in the right place when I ordered a salad Nicoise on the...

This is THE place to stay when visiting the Valley of the Temples. For a start it has an unique view of the major temple on the skyline. You cannot miss dinner on the balcony with a prime view of the temple when the floodlights turned on at dusk. Magical. Otherwise, the hotel is efficient, clean and pleasant. It provides...

Set in The Valle dei Templi, this is the only hotel in the UNESCO World Heritage site and a stunning setting for a truly unique hotel experience. We chose this for a few days of luxury after our wedding in Scopello. I have never stayed in a five star hotel before and it was very eye opening! From the moment...

We stayed one night at the Athena. The views are breathtaking and plentiful. We hiked along the temples accessed via a private gate on the hotel property. You need to buy a ticket from the hotel to access and you should bring water. The hotel didn't mention that to us and we found at this time of year (may) none...

The room was fine and location of the hotel fantastic. The restaurant was not good. Chaotic when we entered, other guests wanting to change their tables. We were told we had to wait before they would take our order and when they took it the tablet didn't work. The food was mediocre. The following day we wanted a drink in...

It was worth it. I couldn't stop staring out the room's three windows at the temple. Pics don't do the views justice. One night was perfect. Gave us a chance to explore the temples and enjoy a dinner at their on-site restaurant.

Excellent service & wonderful dining experiences. Private entrance to archeological park was stunning. We used the adequate gym & had deep tissue massages. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The views were other worldly .
