This place is an amazing find! It's a villa type structure with central courtyard, glass enclosed dining room, beautiful garden/patio with view across the valley to the important archaeological site of Agrigento where the temples on the ridge are lit up at night - a stunning view! My double room was large and comfortable. Friendly service, great dinner and breakfast!

We stayed 3 nights at this boutique hotel. The location and the garden is fantastic. The food and Wine selection is superb and the personnel is very attentive. The rooms are not very large, but a typical hotel standard and the amenities were OK. There is no pool but a spa in the garden with quite warm water. We found... More

Setting, service, food and room all beyond my best expectations. I would happily return whenever I could. My dinner on the lovely terrace overlooking the lighted temples was the best overall meal I had in Sicily and that is saying a lot since I spent 2 weeks traveling around Sicily and had many great meals.

We stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a Rick Steves tour. We were fortunate to be assigned a room in the tower which consisted of a large living room area on one floor with stairs up to the bedroom/bathroom suite. The room had great views, both water and valley. Note that other tour participants had more... More

This hotel was lovely and very reasonable. The staff was very helpful. It is very close to the ruins. The restaurant however was a bit pretentious for our taste though the setting made dinner there worthwhile. It's not often you can dine with a straight on view of amazing Greek ruins!

Lovely hotel, terrific staff, tasty and interesting interpretations of traditional Sicilian dishes at the beautiful garden restaurant. Excellent location for visiting the Valley of the Temples, and the restaurant has a great view of the illuminated temples in the evening.

As previous reviewers have stated, the charming historical hotel is in an ideal location for visiting the Valley of the Temples in Agricentro. We were very warmly welcomed and at all times, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A lovely gesture on leaving to be given some home baked biscuits. The gardens are a delight, however it is really... More

We stayed here for 2 nights so we could spend a full day exploring the ancient temples and museum, which are an easy 5 minute drive away. It turned out to be an ideal base. The hotel is located in peaceful countryside between the temples and the sea and has distant views of the ruined temples juxtaposed with the modern... More

I brought a large group of college students here during a three-week archaeological study abroad program in southern Italy and Sicily, and I can hardly express how wonderful our experience was. Sadly, we only got to spend one evening there, but the staff made us and our bus driver feel right at home. The facilities are impeccably well-kept and filled... More

Loved the place - we booked this hotel on the basis of having a base to explore the rest of Sicily and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located on a hill near the coast and overlooks a valley. The 'valley of temples' is a tourist site near the hotel and is worth a visit. We found the hotel... More
