This is a really special hotel. Aside from the great location for visiting the sites, it's like an oasis with a warm & welcoming feel to it. Helpful & friendly staff. Rooms well appointed, with everything you need, but not lavish or luxurious (not meant as a negative observation!) Breakfast buffet with everything you want. Restaurant exceptional for dinner --...

Although we had a little trouble finding the hotel, once we got there we were not disappointed! It is a beautiful property with distant views of The Valley of the Temples. We had a lovely room with a terrace facing the temples. There is parking right outside the hotel. The hotel is out in the country with nothing around it....

This is highly rated and in many ways for good reason. It is a Four Star which as a seasoned traveller can vary depending on the country and between hotels. The setting is lovely and it is convenient for the valley of the temples if you are driving. I'm sure there are currently taxis available if not. It is a...

What a charming place! Stunning looking hotel overlooking the Valley of the Temples. Quaint spiral staircase leading to the bed room. Beautiful charming and character-laden rooms, library, lounges and facilities. Excellent bathroom. All of this and a wonderful garden seating area overlooking the valley. Tip: Enjoy the ambiance and spoil yourself - half dinner in the restaurant for a unique...

This is a beautiful property. Our room was on the third floor of the tower which someone told us was built in the 11th century. Tons of character with a spiral staircase leading up to it and a living room full of oil paintings and period furniture. From the living area, stairs lead up to the bed and bath. We...

This hotel is more like a welcoming country villa than a typical hotel. Yes, it is out of the city and is not within walking distance of anything. Yet, that is part of the charm. After a day of touring Agrigento, its museums, and the Valley of Temples, it is nice to have a quiet retreat in the countryside to...

Wonderful calm peace and style, excellent service, lovely food. Perfect location and excellent little hotel. Highly recommended. The quality and care were exceptional for Sicily, which we all know to be a shambolic dump in general, so to see such high standards here was refreshing and ennobling.

To begin with, let me take issue with a recent review that characterizes this hotel as being "very remote". I agree that it is too far out of town to walk to a restaurant (although the one at the hotel is very good), but for most of us travelers, we are probably in Agrigento to tour the valley of the...

Beautiful countryside bed and breakfast that served delicious breakfast in a large sunny breakfast room overlooking the Valley of the Temples and the town of Agrigento. Our room was quaint and quiet with a window that opened out to the inner courtyard. The property had free wifi.

We stayed here due to a lot of the reviews saying how great the location is. Being from a large city, I would prefer to stay somewhere within walking distance to bars and restaurants (maybe downtown Agrigento?). This hotel is about a 10-15 minute drive to the city of Agrigento. For people from the suburbs, or people used to driving...
