We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Exclusive, and had a very comfortable stay despite the rain! The staff were very friendly, the breakfast wonderful and the beds the most comfortable in Sicily ! The hotel is very cleverly and beautifully designed, providing a tranquil space in a busy town.
Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and spacious and great facilities. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave us a free information booklet and bottle of red wine which was very nice. Parking was a secure parking lot down and across the road from reception and was free for us, though I think that was only a lucky coincidence for us.
We are two older couples traveling for the first time in Agrigento rented a two bedroom apartment with the Hotel Exclusive. Apparently the apartments are merely checked through the hotel as at first they were very reluctant to provide us with anything beyond the key. The good: the facilities are directly across the street from the train station, modern and well appointed. The bad: our unit was on the top floor with no elevator. Getting our luggage up four flights of stairs was unexpected and not easy. Getting in and out of the building was a bit tricky and we had difficulty figuring out the lighting system for the main stairwell. The ugly: The service at the check-in desk was unwelcoming. At first we were not shown the location of the apartment in relationship to the hotel or how to use basic features ( like turning on the lights for the stairwell) as part of the check in until we returned to the front desk several times in frustration.…
We rented "the apartment" rather than a room in the hotel. The apartment was spacious but lots of issues. No internet twice, but they finally got it working. No elevator and we were two flights up. No mirror over the bathroom sink! Awkward! No maid service. The ad said free parking but they tried to charge at checkout. Not much of a view from the apartment other than a busy street. Disappointing.
Situated next to the train station, this was a great choice made for our 1 night stay in Agrigento. I just wish we had booked for longer! Rooms were modern, stylish and finished to a high standard. The shower was large and good quality. Room included A/C, toiletries, a large and extremely comfortable bed, Sky TV. All the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English. The hotel is located near a bus stop where you can get the no.2 bus to The Valley of the Temples. The breakfast was also good. A selection of the usual continental options was available, from ham and cheese, bread, cereals, yoghurts and drinks among other things. Overall, I would return the the Hotel Exclusive without a shadow of a doubt.
