Giovanni and his wife operate an intimate and lovely little B&B in the heart of Agrigento. We took Giovanni's suggestions for dinner and both were economical and excellent. There is no parking so drop off your bags first and then go look for parking. The do offer a space for an addition of 5 euros. At first we were concerned... More

We stayed at Le Cinque Novelle for 3 nights in March and could not fault it. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Giovanni greeted us on arrival and made check in very easy as well as giving great advice on what to see in Agrigento and advice on good nearby restaurants. Giovanni's wife Guisi... More

Don't be fooled by the location of this B &B; it is a wonderful place well worth the effort to find. The entrance is just a doorway on a hilly side street off of Via Athena, the main road through the historical center of Agrigento. The street doesn't look like much and is so hilly that narrow steps are build... More

We stayed here for two nights in September 2014 and what a treat it was. The help, advice and service from the owners. They asked that you specified an arrival time and that is fair enough. Breakfast was plentiful and varied but was of a very high quality. Location was in the centre with short walks to most venues and... More

The owner was extremely helpful and my room was charming. The location was perfect right in the center of old town and within walking distance of many restaurants. Breakfast was absolutely the best, i.e. so many delicious italian pastries to choose from, wonderful coffee and a peach.

We have just enjoyed a delightful stay at this B&B, we were originally booked in for two nights and spontaneously decided to stay another night prior to the two already booked, we arranged through bookings.com on the day, we advised of a late arrival (after 7pm) as we were travelling from Ragusa. Upon arrival (7:45pm ish) we were greeted by... More

My friend and I were travelling around Sicily by car. On our way to Agrigento, we got delayed in traffic. We told the b&b we were arriving at 9pm, but we called to let them know that we were unable to be there in time because of the inconvenient in the road. The owner of the b&b, answered the phone,... Dear users of TripAdvisor, on this occasion, my tone will be less cordial than usual for those who, having an obvious wrong, and only for the purpose of revenge, leaving bad reviews and offends me personally in an attempt to harm the reputation of myself and my structure. 67 euro a night for BnB with a great Sicilian breakfast being a variety of pastries. You can order a larger breakfast for an extra 5 euro p person but unlikely you will need it. Clean place lovely staff. Small and local to the main drag. While you are here go to la scala turchi.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Agrigento, crib of Magna Grecia, earth of different dominations, with its narrow little streets, the suggestive stairways, the barroc balconies and the marvelous Valle dei Templi that it illuminates some precocious flowering of the Almond tree in February, hand a warm welcome to its visitors. Our structure is an ideal destination for the one who wants to bathe in the rich local culture, to taste the delights of our kitchen and confectionery, to enjoy the magnificent sun and the sea of the South. It sets in the Historical Center of the city, with autonomous entry and sight to sea, it is near to monuments as the Monastery of Santo Spirito (ancient house of the Contessa Marchisia Prefolio Chiaramonte), the ex - Collegio dei Filippini (today center of important pictorial and photographic shows), the Church of Santa Maria dei Greci (still built on an ancient visible templar plinth), the Bibliotheca Lucchesiana and alone 80 meters away from the Theater Luigi Pirandello.Recently renovated, finished with exposed sandstone, brick arches discovered during construction, local pottery and tools of ‘900s, our hotel offers all modern comforts in a rustic and elegant ambient, decorated in poor art. With bedrooms, double or twin rooms with air conditioning, heating, bathroom with shower, heated towel rail, hairdryer, TV, Digital TV, safe, Wi-Fi and offers a rich breakfast. Our target is the total satisfaction of our guests to feel them as at own home ... with a lot of sympathy, warmth and hospitality ... the "magic formula" B & B! ... more   less
