We stayed for one night, the rooms are nice and recently renewed, very clean. The pool area it's ok, but the hotel is so big and the pool was very crowded. So many people, too many I would say. One thing I really didn't like is that they wouldn't let us use the pool area the next day after the check out. Many other hotels lets you stay for a few hours, here they charge you 18€ per person..

Met up with German friends at the hotel for a week. They are physically impaired and essentially want to eat familiar foods and get massaged. And I suppose for mediocre German food - heavy, swimming in sauce, not made from fresh ingredients - served unrelentingly, it was ok. To go to a country which is rated as the best food destination in the EU to eat CANNED fruit for breakfast (when wonderful local fruit was plentiful); cheese from Aldi's, and heavy (and unhealthy) meals which I would not purchase in Germany (my Frau is German and we spend about three months in Germany annually, so I know and like good German cooking) because they are like what one would have in a hospital or nursing home is a crime. Essentially a German nursing home in a lovely part of Italy which offers daily bus trips to remind you that you are in Italy.

I spent a short week end in Abano, because of the Padova half Marathon which started there. The hotel is placed in a quiet and green area , in the Colli Euganei zone. The hospitality was very good, my single room was cleanand nice and quiet with a "french size" bed. Restaurant was at "buffet" , there were many choices with a good quality. The list of the wines was rather rich, and also the breakfast was plentful. You could get coffee directly from the coffee machine.A spaceful parking lot was also available
