Excellent accommodation, we had a room with sea view and spa, it was lovely. This was our second visit. Wifi was free and very fast, very good choices for breakfast and right next to the harbour. Slight problem with space for parking and car park about 50m away from the hotel, but this didn't spoil our break.

Very enjoyable 2 night stay in a very nice spacious sea view room which overlooked the harbour the room was fantastic, as was the breakfast, and evening meal in the bar. Would highly recommend this to anybody maybe a bit more expensive than some but certainly worth it

My partner and I visited the Pier House hotel for a late summer short break. It had been a difficult few months before as we had both been in hospital for various reasons, so we needed somewhere to 'chill' and relax. The Pier House Hotel certainly didn't disappoint; our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and had great views too!...

My wife and I took advantage of a Winter three day break offer at the Pier House and enjoyed every minute. We had room 11 which overlooked the harbour and fabulous sea views. We could not fault the room in spite of a force 9 gale hammering at he windows (very atmospheric being avid Poldark fans!). Breakfasts were first class...

The hotel is located in a very beautiful place and the public bar is comfortable in a traditional style . The roast which was available till 6pm was delicious, it was beef with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and five different vegetables including cauliflower cheese. All tasty and cooked well. My husband chose vegetarian curry which he too enjoyed, accompanied by...

Stunning location, perfect for a short break. Stayed in room 12....very clean, amazing views over the harbour, ample bathroom facilities (better than some 5* hotels ) Great sized room. We ate in the restaurant on the Monday evening, although very busy and just after Christmas Day. It was a very enjoyable meal. My partner had a steak, which just melted...

Christmas dinner here was as always fantastic. I have eaten at this restaurant often over the last 15 years and the food is amazing. The staff are warm and friendly especially the older lady. Sorry that I don't know her name but I am sure she has been there as long as I have been going. Nothing is to much...

The hotel is in a great location and our room had great views. Our room was well refurbished, lots of plug sockets and a good wifi signal. Room was nice and warm. My dislikes were, there are signs big and small everywhere with does and don'ts. The room sound proofing is nonexistent, I thought at one point there was someone...

Our two-night stay here could not be faulted....well, the weather was pretty miserable! We arrived on a Saturday mid afternoon without a booking (not recommended), and we're pleased to be offered one of the last rooms available. It turned out to be excellent - adequate size, nicely furnished, very comfortable bed and excellent ensuite. The ensuite was in fact the...
