Madame runs a traditional, warm and very comfortable hotel. Monsieur cooks (very well!). There are three separate lounge areas, two inside the light, airy house and one outside terrace (with sofas and armchairs and parasols) overlooking the blue sea. One of our best breakfasts. The usual ham, cheese, yoghurt, bread, rolls, pastries, orange juice but also a fabulous fruit salad.... More

We had an excellent welcome and a lovely room with sea view. The area is excellent for bird-watching. The restaurant was very good and we had a couple of excellent meals there (we weren't on half-board) but as we were staying for a week we felt we needed more variety and so we walked to the restaurants in the village... Wonderful situation, perfect tranquility, birdsong and waves breaking. Just what a weary traveller needed. Then it just got better. First evening Dinner of Turbot marinaded with a wild fennel veloute fantastic , followed by more tremendous dishes and we were on demi pension. Lovely wine list , best Muscadet we have had for years. Madam so helpful , today I... More

Another reviewer criticised the service and welcome. This could not be further from our experience. I left by rather large bird identification book behind but Madame Bouvère arranged to send it to me in England and it has just arrived safely. We found the service and welcome to be efficient and genuine but not over effusive. What a pleasant change.... More
