We stayed three nights half board in the apartment, which was lovely and has enormous windows overlooking the fjord. We even saw a family of sea otters swim past from the comfort of our lounge. We were lucky enough to be the only guests which made our stay even more special so on the two nights we saw the northern... More

We stayed with Ingvild and Nigel in February and had a really fantastic stay. The breakfast and dinner are definitely recommended: very diverse and delicous. The owners are very interested in what you want to visit and give great advice. During our stay the region was very slippery and Nigel made a lot of effort to make the road for... More

A long weekend, with the hope of seeing the lights, we weren't disappointed. The location means that you can just step out of you cabin and set up your camera, so on nights when the lights are in/out, it makes it ideal. The cabins are great and well laid out with kitchen and lounge area, so great when you do... More

There is no better place to see the Northern Lights. It is all on your doorstep, with no crowds and no need to travel for hours on a coach or minibus. If the lights are showing and the weather is kind, step out of your cabin and admire the awesome display all around you. The accommodation is excellent. Other recent... More

I have stayed here twice now during Feb 2015 and Feb 2016, chasing Northern Lights, as part of a group booking. The location is simply stunning, especially when snow covered, and provides a perfect backdrop should the northern lights make an appearance. The accommodation is comfortable and warm. The food was fab! Moose pie and reindeer...and do ask for the... More

We had a four night stay with Nigel, Ingvild and their wonderful team of helpers. Stupendous scenery, fantastic cooking, and the accommodation was spotless and spacious. We stayed in the apartment - book it - it has a view to die for. We'd gone for the Northern Lights and what a show we had - EVERY night, right where we... More

A friend and I had booked a 3 night stay with breakfast and dinner. The cabin we stayed in was spacious, situated on the top of hill with a fantastic view of the mountains and fjord. The cabin was super clean. So absolutely no complaints about accommodations. The main building was just as clean and well kept as the cabins... More

This place was quite a bit different compared to other campgrounds we stayed at in/around the Lofoten area. Location is very nice with lovely views. The campground is mainly designed for seasonal residents rather than overnight guests. There is a "parking lot" at the very top of campground for campervans/caravans. The lot was not very level and there were some... More

My friend and I stayed in the guest cottage where you have your own room but share kitchen and living room. Beautiful new building. I would recommend staying here if you plan to do the Whale Safari. It is much more beautiful than Andenes. It is only about a 40 minute drive so stay here before and after the safari.... More

We stayed at the centre for two nights in a cabin. Our experience was mixed and a little disappointing. Starting with the positives: The food is very good. Fresh local ingredients are used and are cooked well. The Co-owner Ingvild is friendly and is trying her best. The cabins are clean and well equipped The view over the fjord is... More
