LIKED - the bedroom, the bed, the situation, quiet, pool, restaurant, friendly staff. Restaurant - so good we ate there both nights of our stay (and better value than restaurants in Sarlat). Little comment to owner - the extractor in the ensuite (room 104) needs replaced - just not really doing anything. We felt very welcome and would return again... More

This is an excellent family run hotel with a good range of clean and well appointed rooms. The hotel rooms are in a group of buildings in the centre of the village but are very close to each other. The restaurant, has outdoor and indoor facilities and serves great food. The swimming pool is superb. The staff are all lovely... More

Oh bliss! Easy to find, really friendly staff, very clean rooms, site, pool and play area. The food was amazing, the outdoor setting of the dining room was beautiful, although busy it didn't dint the enjoyment. The steak was perfect, the cheese board was immense. Thank you for a great break, hope you make it to Cardiff for the rugby.

I have just returned from 3 nights at Archambeau. I have eaten here many times over the years (& never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service) but this is the first time I have stayed. Booked a Superior room, which was of a very high standard of decor & fittings. The Hotel is run by a... More

Our 6 week trip didn't include this area but we stumbled into it, how lucky!! Even better we found this gem of a hotel. Family run, really nice people. Booked the Hotel as a stopover before going to Le Paradis camp site that's just up the road! we found the owner and staff most obliging, the recently refurbished room excellent, and the food for our evening meal was of a very high standard and freshly cooked. We stayed in room 502 which was a superior room and was well... More

Average 2* Logis hotel and restaurant. The lady who showed us our room was pleasant enough. We stayed in the older part of the hotel. There are various buildings belonging to the hotel in this small village. Our room was rather small, but clean and we had all we needed. The bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant. Parts... We booked this 2 star Logis expecting the usual run-of-the-mill accommodation and food that most of these hotels offer. How wrong could we have been? Our room was in the new part of the hotel, modern and stylish. Superbly appointed. The bed was one the most comfortable we have ever slept in. And the bathroom! State-of-the-art shower and endless hot... More

What a delightful surprise this entire hotel and restaurant were. A picture perfect hotel with the rooms in an interesting variety of buildings surrounded by gardens. The room was very large and comfortable. The tables in the outdoor restaurant were situated in a garden under fragrant trees and the menu was varied and reasonable.

Perfect location for visiting the dordogne caves. Between Montignac and Les Eyzies, a very peaceful location. The hotel was clean comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel restaurant is fantastic, food and service superb. The hotel is arranged in separate buildings around a small village church. The church bells ring at 7am. So ear plugs... More
