We really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this cute and well amenitied hotel. Right on the town square, you can stroll at night and enjoy the friendliness of families as they spend time together. The landscape of the square is amazingly well taken care of with lots of color during growing season. Many restaurants of differing ethnic foods all around the square. We prefer a room overlooking the square to take it all in. Staff is friendly and acommodating.

We once again had a pleasant visit to the Mansion el Conde. The rooms are delightful and the staff is great. The views of the volcano "Popo" from the rooftop is exceptional. With the hotel being right on the Zocalo, there is plenty to see and do on foot.

We stay here whenever we visit Atlixco.

They went out of their way to make us feel unappreciated even though we paid in advance two packages to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We arrived early for our 12pm massage and instead of a welcome they were upset and said: "check in is until 3pm".
Then the masseuse were late, the pool was dirty, there were no pool towels, and the floors in the corridors were dirty.
The second day we went to the pool area at 9.30am to have breakfast and spend the day in the pool but it was closed. We asked the lady 3 times to open it and her response was:” in a minute” and the 4th time she said “we are not going to open it today, because there is no one to clean it”. That was very upsetting since when I made the reservation, I asked if the pool was open and their answer was "all the hotel facilities are fully available to our guests."

The romantic dinner of the second day you could tell they where doing their best effort to make us uncomfortable. There was no decoration just flowers on the table and rose petals “thrown” all over the floor, The decoration was part of what we paid for, but they said it was done early and that the wind destroyed, so that was that. During dinner the service was poor, and it took forever to get our meal.
Definitely a very unpleasant experience. Nobody is rude up front but there is no customer service, they show cero empathy or interest in costumer satisfaction. The room is nice but the jacuzzi was dirty, at first there was no hot water and the safe didn’t work.
It was definitely not what I expected for what we paid, I would not recommend it to ANYONE looking to have a nice time and relax.

I stopped in here to get a room for the night, based on the generally favorable reviews on Tripadvisor. Two employees were busy talking to each other at the front desk. They were clearly annoyed that I was interrupting their chat. The place seemed nearly deserted, so I didn’t think that I would have any problem getting a room. Indeed, there were rooms available.
When I asked the price they told me to go on line if I needed "information like that". They quickly turned away from me and continued their conversation. I will never go to any place like this that treats their guests, or potential guests, so rudely.

I spent 2 different weekends in Atlixco and stayed at the Hotel Mansion el Conde both times. The staff are super friendly, the rooms spacious and clean with modern facilities, the rooftop pool and bar is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. And the hotel restaurant is perfectly located outside across from the Zocalo. It is the perfect home base while adventuring in Atlixco.

Stayed there for two nights while attending a wedding. It is very small by US standards, only 12 rooms. It is build in tradition Mexican style with a courtyard with a fountain in the middle. Each of the rooms is very different from the others: decorations, size, amenities, but all of them would satisfy even very demanding customers. There is a restaurant on the premises. You could eat downstairs in the main room or enjoy the rooftop part of it with incredible view. The food is up to the very high standards with the breakfast only $3 after the hotel discount! The only drawback is the housekeeping would clean your room even if you leave "don't disturb " sign out front.

I've been to Atlixco plenty of times before and have stayed with family and at a couple of other hotels. I am so happy to share my experience about Hotel Mansion el Conde.
This year I was attending a wedding (yes, another wedding) and stayed one night only. I had stayed at Alqueria before (which did not have AC, only fans) and I wanted to try something new, it was pricier but it offered the spa and no children are allowed, that sounded like a win win situation. We arrived around 11 am, check in is of course at 3p, they allowed us to use the spa to get dressed and ready for the wedding and kept our bags. We crossed the street to the church in front of the kiosk where the catholic mass was being celebrated and from there we headed to the garden for the party at Jardin los Grillos, after an early dinner at the wedding, we headed to the hotel for check in and take a nap, it was around 5pm. I stayed at room 5, the purple room and loved it! I shared the room with my mom, so we had two full size beds. We found a pleasant amenity that we were not expecting, local candy and some chocolate. After the nap we had some coffee we made ourselves on the coffee maker they provide in room.
The bathroom was beautiful! It had a skylight and a nice rain shower shower head, big mirror with jack and jill vanity, we had slippers and bath robes, truly a top of the notch boutique hotel. Bath had nice local amenities and we even had Pineda Covalin soap!
A 75 MXN pesos per person is included in the room rate for breakfast, which we enjoyed at the roof terrace, perfect for a plate of quesadillas or fruit plate. This roof terrace, has a pool and is a bar at night, it has beautiful views.
We did not have time to eat at Vittorio's, italian and poblana cuisine, because they were expecting us for almuerzo in the novias house, but the menu looked enticing...
By the way, the newly weds stayed here too!

Perfect destination for a Mexico City side trip.

I don't know. We keep a car in Mexico and just drive there when we visit. The hotel may be able to answer this for you. We have visited several times and have always enjoyed ourselves.
