We really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this cute and well amenitied hotel. Right on the town square, you can stroll at night and enjoy the friendliness of families as they spend time together. The landscape of the square is amazingly well taken care of with lots of color during growing season. Many restaurants of differing ethnic foods all around the square. We prefer a room overlooking the square to take it all in. Staff is friendly and acommodating.

They went out of their way to make us feel unappreciated even though we paid in advance two packages to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived early for our 12pm massage and instead of a welcome they were upset and said: "check in is until 3pm". Then the masseuse were late, the pool was dirty, there were no pool towels, and the floors in the corridors were dirty. The second day we went to the pool area at 9.30am to have breakfast and spend the day in the pool but it was closed. We asked the lady 3 times to open it and her response was:” in a minute” and the 4th time she said “we are not going to open it today, because there is no one to clean it”. That was very upsetting since when I made the reservation, I asked if the pool was open and their answer was "all the hotel facilities are fully available to our guests."
The romantic dinner of the second day you could tell they where doing their best effort to make us uncomfortable. There was no decoration just flowers on the table and rose petals “thrown” all over the floor, The decoration was part of what we paid for, but they said it was done early and that the wind destroyed, so that was that. During dinner the service was poor, and it took forever to get our meal. Definitely a very unpleasant experience. Nobody is rude up front but there is no customer service, they show cero empathy or interest in costumer satisfaction. The room is nice but the jacuzzi was dirty, at first there was no hot water and the safe didn’t work. It was definitely not what I expected for what we paid, I would not recommend it to ANYONE looking to have a nice time and relax.…

Do not book this hotel over any weekend night!!! The Hotel has had problems with noise in all of the rooms, from a extremely loud band which plays right next door on the weekends. The band starts playing at about 8 PM Friday and Saturday evenings and the booming noise only ends well after 2 AM. We were told by employees that the hotel management is well aware of the problem and are not able to resolve it. The employees said they have been advised by the management not to tell or forewarn guests about the noise problem when checking into this hotel. Also, if English - and not Spanish - is your primary language, you should definitely book elsewhere. There are many other choices of excellent hotels in Atlixco.

El Hotel cuenta con Ventanas Anti-Ruido lo cual reduce hasta en un 60% el ruido exterior, justamente con la intención de cuidar su descanso y confort. Lamentamos que el fin de semana en el que usted se alojo, el Ruido Externo Ajeno al Hotel y a la propia administración, interrumpiera su descanso, recordándole que la Administración le ofreció un cambio de habitación sin costo alguno en el momento de recibir su observación. Nuevamente agradecemos su estancia y seguimos a sus ordenes.

I spent 2 different weekends in Atlixco and stayed at the Hotel Mansion el Conde both times. The staff are super friendly, the rooms spacious and clean with modern facilities, the rooftop pool and bar is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. And the hotel restaurant is perfectly located outside across from the Zocalo. It is the perfect home base while adventuring in Atlixco.

Beatiful hotel, right at the downtown/plaza Atlixco. Very nice, great rooms, and nice roof bar and restaurant with pool. Also the restaurant Vittorio's super service of the personnel and good taste food.

I chose El Conde based on traveler reviews because I wanted a relaxing spa retreat. There were both pros and cons with the hotel. Cons the Bad: 1.The main thing was that it was advertised as FREE breakfast. The first day we found out breakfast was not free it was just discounted. 2.There was no guide in the room explaining anything, no menu, no spa menu, no hotel info. 3.The remote control for the tv or ac did not work. They did fix the a/c but never replaced the tv remote. 4.The mini bar was not restocked everyday. 5.Actually the worst was finding 2 roaches in the room. 6.I also got a letter from the staff that I was going to be charged 60 usd for cleaning up smoking, we were not smoking there was NO mess made. 7.They also did not provide an itemized bill at checkout. 8.About the spa, the jacuzzi was not hot and then it was being worked on the the rest of my stay. 9.The jacuzzi on the terrazo was also broken and cold. 10.The pool was cold and dirty. 11. They did not make up room on the last day. 12. wifi was spotty 13. The firepit was never on for us 14. The reception staff was rude We left our room very clean, I have stayed at many hotels, and am very clean and respectful. The pros: 1. The location was great right on the zocolo. 2. We once again had a pleasant visit to the Mansion el Conde. The rooms are delightful and the staff is great. The views of the volcano "Popo" from the rooftop is exceptional. With the hotel being right on the Zocalo, there is plenty to see and do on foot. We stay here whenever we visit Atlixco.

Location was perfect , the service was excellent , room had A/C , very nice place . I will stay there next time i m in Atlixco. Every time I requested something , it would not take long . The food was very good . Thank you for making my experience in Atlixco something special.The Mexican are great people .

This was my second time in this hotel, and I gotta say I'm coming back. Great room, the pool is clean and the room is comfortable. I stayed in a room with a jacuzzi. And I loved the amenities that the hotel provides. Very profesional spa service. I just wanna say that the staff needs to work on the customer service.

this boutique hotel is a jewl in atlixco, it is in the zocalo, from its original facade to its terrace and patio, everything is beautiful and cozy, the staff makes you feel like home, they are really friendly and helpful!!! i am really greatful because they made my stay super confy, i stayed here from wednesday to sunday before my wedding and all my friends and family stayed here, all the staff was willing to help all the time, the terrace has excellent views of atlixco and popocatepetl, great place to have breakfast!!! thankyou mansion del conde!!! it was a really unforgettable experience!!!
