Lupus Den was very welcoming, excellent food (both breakfast and dinner), beautiful setting in a citrus farm close to Addo, quiet, excellent room, beautiful garden, highly recommended. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and informative.

We spent two days at Lupus Den in September 2016 occupying two rooms. The rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The rest of the house was also well appointed. The gardens around the house were also lovely and fully supported our interest in wildlife. We had breakfast and dinner and both were extremely well received. All this in a... More

A real gem which is not to be missed whenever you visit Addo! Lovely cottage on working farm, tucked away in the citrus fields with ultra friendly host and staff, beautiful clean and well decorated, spacious rooms. Fantastic food and breakfast, everything 100% fresh, with the best fresh orange juice I ever had and all from the LUPUS DEN farm.... More

As we approached Lupus Den via the dirt road, we were already off the beaten track and intrigued with the citrus plantations a buzz of activity as it was harvesting time. The scent of citrus in the air was enough to start the relaxation process. The owner & hostess of Lupus greeted us personally and showed us to our family room,... More

Thank you to the lovely Priscilla for another fabulous stay at your beautiful lodge in the middle of a citrus farm. We loved it so much last year we just had to come back. We stayed in Kingfisher, a beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean garden cottage..absolutely perfect for us. Priscilla is a wonderful host, so friendly and her home cooked dinners... More

We spent a great few days at Lupus Den. 20mins to Addo main gate but yet far enough off the beaten track to enjoy the "bush" and the associated peace and quiet. Priscilla is a wonderful hostess and is the quintessential example of the wonderful South African hospitality. We stayed in "Hoopoe" which is ideal with those with kids. Slept... More

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here. Our garden room was spacious and so comfortable with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Priscilla, the owner, prepared delicious dinners each night. We loved this place!

My wife and parents in-law booked the garden cottages for 2 nights on Lupus Den citrus farm so we could access the Addo park. Firstly I have to say accommodation is quite limited in the park itself and when you have "5 star" Lupus Den on the doorstep I would recommend this as much the better option. The drive to... More

In the middle of the most beautiful citrus grove lies this hidden treasure. We stayed in one of the garden cottages and as soon as you enter the room you are taken back; high ceilings, beautiful light, amazingly comfortable bed, a spacious and luxurious bathroom and spotlessly clean. It had the luxury of a five star hotel but the tranquility... More
