Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Hotel Regency Country Club Apartment Suites offers a spacious retreat, with many guests praising the property's beautiful decor and generous room sizes. However, the hotel's remote location often necessitates taxis, adding to the cost of stay, which some travelers find diminishes the hotel's value. While the staff's friendliness is frequently acknowledged, mixed experiences with service efficiency, particularly at reception, have been reported. The cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms receive varied reviews, with maintenance issues cropping up. Despite a pleasant atmosphere, the early closures and a dearth of evening activities have left some guests desiring more.

Please don’t let the stars fool you! The photos ARE A LIE. I was so sad spending the money I did for the 3 bed villa in room 710. It’s falling apart. Varnish so sticky on the wood you can’t touch it, metal sticking up off the floor in the toilets, you cannot even shower it’s so terrible. Wood is rotting on the floors. Doors don’t close on the kitchen cabinets, doors scraping and stuck on the floors and don’t open properly. The single beds are like sleeping on concrete. We know the difference between a ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ bed. These are the absolute worst. Staff complacent and treating us like we were dumb when they actually knew exactly what types of beds we were complaining about without description (it’s the single beds in the multi room apartments) . You have to request cleaning 24 hours in advance and when you do they act horribly about it like you are nuisance. WiFi doesn’t work properly at all, and any general requests, the staff treat you like a problem. The pool itself is lovely and so are the staff there, but honestly I would never book here again. Our trip was ruined. I honestly did not read the reviews well enough and spent thousands of pounds for a sub par holiday on a last trip my parents would ever have. Shame on you Regency Cuntry Club. We honestly deserved better.

We booked accommodation with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was cold and we raised the issue several times at the reception during our stay. The problem was never resolved and the reception invited us to write an email so that the manager could see the issue for a finantial compensation. We wrote several emails and even called the hotel, we never received a reply from a manager. I would strongly advise anyone wishing to book accommodation with a jacuzzi not to do so, and more generally anyone wishing to book at this hotel. If you ever have a problem, no one will answer you.

First impressions ie reception, restaurant and bar areas were beautiful ,also around the pool very nicely laid out, our room was dull and dated and not particularly very clean, we were self-catering and found the kitchen quite basic ,not enough utensils ect no teatowels or kitchen hand towels, the bedroom wasn't great frenchdoors the wood was warped with big gaps in them ,blackout curtains were ripped and the bed was horrendous it was very very hard felt like sleeping on a table ( I did ask at reception if mattress toppers or suchlike were available only to be told no , very helpful ) also pillows again very hard and uncomfortable, bathroom again dated the jacuzzi was dirty didnt look as though it had been cleaned from previous guests ,toilet and basins old and stained ,the towels were well worn stained and paper thin ,housekeeping had to be booked 24hrs in advance , waste of time bathroom surfaces and table top so obviously hadnt been cleaned, floors still dusty and not washed down ,bins had been emptied that was about it , there was even children's hand prints all over the glass doors leading to balcony so not cleaned again from previous guests .very disappointing would we stay here again NO .

The staff at this hotel are great. They are so friendly and helpful and always help you with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful with its Balinese style. It was our second time there as we loved it the first time. The room had a lovely view, an amazing sunbathing terrace and a roof terrace. The pool area is beautiful with nice sun beds and umbrellas. The gardens are really pretty. There were however a few issues. The bathrooms are really tired. There is discolouring around the shower and hot tub, tiles looking messy, taps discoloured and needs redoing. They are supposed to be green but the hot tub needs so much water before it gets to the sprayjets and they also continue to use throw away plastic mini bottles instead of refillable ones. The pillows are foamy and hard. The restaurant has a limited selection which never changes. It is quite expensive and service is so slow. There are really no other restaurants close by. You really need a car or to take a taxi to eat out. Lovely hotel but needs updating.

The hotel is lovely with fantastic views of the sea and local hospital! The pool was inviting a tad cold but that’s to be expected this time of year. We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms big lounge and 6 sunbeds. The apartment needs some updating but the beds were very comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant only drinks which were a bit pricey The rooms were not cleaned unless you asked them to be neither were the towels changed again unless you asked. We didn’t bother in the end and picked up new towels from reception. There are pool towels if you want them. If you want a takeaway reception will give you a menu which was very good There is a small supermarket up the hill for basics and if you are happy to walk 10mins up a hill the treehouse restaurant is a must. The biggest downfall is the location you can not walk into town due to it being on a main road. The accommodation is very close to the main road so always woken up by motorbikes and cars from 5am. Taxis are easy to get hold of through reception or you can try getting a bus either the 418 or 482 but the times are hit and miss. Overall if you want something out the way but very comfortable this is the place for you.

Good helpful staff, lots of steps, need a car as away from shops and beach, we had a 3 bed apartment which was nice but meant we had a long hilly walk with the wheelchair, pool and jacuzzi was nice, heated.

Loved this place!! Everything we needed for a holiday with friends. Lovely apartment, gorgeous views of the sun rise and set, the pool is fabulous and just a short taxi ride in tho the busy port of Los Christianos or Costa Adeje. Staff are really helpful and friendly. It was our first time here, but we met people who are frequent returns and I think I will too!

We found the outside space and swimming pool exellent, disappointed with the standard of our apartment. Felt the kitchen area needed a refurbishment and overall decor tired. The staff were very helpful and the apartment was clean on arrival. We reported a couple of issues which were addressed promptly.

Such a beautiful hotel our 2nd time around and we still love it. But the rooms are beginning to look a bit dated and unfortunately the beds have become very uncomfortable. Plus side the staff are amazing and an absolute credit to the hotel and the breakfast was just beautiful

Hotel was beautiful but staff ruined the experience. They were bickering amongst eachother and very rude, it almost seemed like they were annoyed that we were bothering them by ordering food or drinks. Also we tried to book minigolf but the staff kept sending us to different staffmembers across the hotel and back and forth, and no one seemed to know anything. Definetely not a 4-star resort.
