In the heart of France, in the department Allier (Auvergne) you can find the chambres d'hotes Le Matou Roux. Close to the biggest European oaktree forest and several lakes. You are welcomed by your hosts Nicole and Rob. The guestrooms (chambres d’hotes) are located in an old renovated former farmhouse. This place offers you all the peace and quiet you need to unravel from busy city life. The area is known for a modest eco tourism. One can find Nature in abundance, walking and cycling routes and beaches for swimming in the lakes nearby. We are most happy to inform you on regional activities, walking routes and everything else the area has to offer. Although exploring can be fun too.
