We stayed at the Auberge de la Durdent in the small village of Héricourt-en-Caux, not too far from Le Havre and Rouen - in a really rural setting by the river Durdent. The Auberge is a small establishment with only 7-suites. The suites comprised a living room, bedroom and

Rooms are spacious (they are "suites" - separate bedroom and sitting room) but somehow we didn't feel we were getting value for money. There were the usual signs of neglect like mildew around the bath, thin ageing towels, no pillow case for the spare pillows, no

Stayed in this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed the kind reception,, the nice room and the delicious food. We were advised about the possibilities for visiting near by and that was also worth getting it! Can only advise to go there if there's a chance to.

45 years ago, as a newly wedded couple, we stayed at the auberge de la durdent and we were surprised that it still existed. The rooms have now double the size they had then (one "suite" was made out of two rooms in the past). It is still the same quite and lovely spot and I

This hotel is set in the most delightful location, on a river with views over the countryside. The room was very large, with a fabulous bathroom, and a living room as part of the suite. Great sleeping since it was so quiet. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to sample the

Bonjour.

"Ask for the composition of the Thai dinner. Rooms are all the same but by choosing the higher numbers (i.e. 6 or 7) you avoid that the other guests pass before your window."
"I would be sure to get rooms in the annex, away from the road."
"We liked our ground floor annexe suite very much apart from the point I made above."
