All pre arrangement for stay and spa perfect exchanged! Excellent room and housekeeping (some need a bit more improvements) the facility is like always relaxing iconic and amazing, breakfast quality, scope and service is highest level. Spa is perfect even we had it not in spa building due to maintenance. Also two pools closed one maintanace and one blocked for British national cricket team a bit disappointing but the one and only pool was open and due to low guest number in such days a very relaxing place! The chedi is a level it self not to rank with stars I always feel like home and anytime again! Thanksss for the memorable stay

Hotel's Favorite
My wife and I spent Eid Al Adha at the beautiful Chedi Muscat, July 19-24. Despite increased competition, The Chedi Muscat remains the most desirable address in the Sultanate of Oman. The luxury hotel is sited in a beautifully landscaped twenty-one-acre garden oasis with Omani-influenced guestrooms and villas. Authentic and tranquil. Truly, a style to remember.

I have been an old times fan of The Chedi and been staying here for at least five times The location, the setting and the surrounding are simply stunning and beautiful Said so, this last trip was an absolute nightmare and couldn’t wait to leave and go back home A serious of accidents, mulfunctions and poor service have made what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend into a weekend of hell full of stress and left the Hotel upset and in a very bad mood Let me start from the beginning - at check in they kindly told me that I was being upgraded to a superior room - to find out that the room was overlooking a parking lot Anyway I appreciated the gesture and was ok with it - got into the room no towels available, no hairdryer, no water in the mini bar. Went out for dinner, no turndown service Still ok, did not say anything Next morning I left the room at 8am and come back at 3pm - still no one came to do the room At this point I complained - spoke with the manager in charge that very kindly apologized and offered me a new room, this time a suite Very much appreciated the gesture and thought I could finally start my holiday Still some issues with room service, but again could live with it Issues with electronic key to open room started - did not work so every time I have to walk back to reception and someone has to walk back with me on order to open the door It happened 4 times in one afternoon. Reception told me that following morning at 7.30am someone would have come to fix it - so woke up early in order to open the door and let them do the work No one showed up - went out for breakfast and still same process, have to go to reception and someone has to escort me back in order to open the room for me In addition, air conditioning in gym is not working - so get ready for a real sweat. The poor PT that works there is melting while the day goes by, felt sorry for him and brought him water I travel a lot for business and pleasure and I am usually very accommodating and don’t complain - but, been at the Chedi several times, I had an expectations on the services and standards Couldn’t have been more wrong, as said I x am leaving more stressed and tired than when I arrived I had a nice talk with the manager in charge that was very kind and apologetic Hopefully this was a one-time bad experience and next time I will be back the standard and the service will be at the level I used to remember

My wife and I visited the Chedi in October, weather was great and the hotel is super. As Oman had just opened up, there were only around 10 or 15 couples there, so we had the whole hotel with its 3 pools at our disposal. The staff are extremely friendly and as we had a car, travelling around was very easy, hardly any traffic. Only one restaurant was open but it had a variety of options to choose from, and if you like sheesha, they serve it in the courtyard. We had access to the Club Lounge which provides small bitings almost throughout the day with happy hour after 6ish. We had a suite with a sunken bath. The only issue with that was that the water was tepid at best and took over an hour to fill up, so we didn't make use of that, but everything else was lovely. I have to say they have this Long pool which is about 30 metres long, so if you like swimming it's ideal and no chlorine, as it's a salt pool. There's no real beach, as it's a very thin strip of sand along it and there weren't any parasols so we just hung around the pool. When we were due to leave we needed a couple of PCR tests, and that's where I was really impressed. They have a nurse onsite that does the test for around £50. So no need to go anywhere and you get a certificate within 12 hours. I was well impressed

Well there is nothing to dislike about the Chedi, we just love it. We have had dinner at the Beach Restaurant (From October to April, the Beach Restaurant sells Omani seafood, including wild lobster and tiger prawns with a choice of lemon beurre blanc, XO or tamarind sauce) We have had many lunches outdoors in the Arabian Courtyard , but that is also closed during the hot months. And then you can eat indoors (next to the Arabian Courtyard), BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL restaurant. Excellent (TOP CLASS) service, the food is just fantastic (they do occasionally change the menu but actually served a dish to us not on the menu because it used to be and we loved it). It is an ALLROUND fabulous experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
