I would like to commend your entire restaurant staff for such a great service,Kishore, karna, Suresh, adil, chib. Extending our sincerest appreciation to Milet who greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. That alone sets the benchmark of an impeccable hospitality that always sets the good vibes. Not to mention, the food as always is truly amazing, reason to come back and enjoy each dining experience. Overall, I will keep coming back and will definitely recommend your restaurant to my relatives and friends. Thanks for an awesome experience.

From the moment that we stepped into the hotel, the staff was there to make us feel welcome. The entire place is perfect! The landscape is large enough to have a nice walk around, the swimming pool area is quintessential, and the water is perfect for swimming. We had the most amazing time in this beautiful hotel. Everything and everyone was perfect. The food was outstanding, staff was unbelievably caring. This was planned as a once-in-a-lifetime trip and it surpassed all expectations. We are very happy that we chose this hotel, we felt very well. This is a hotel and resort where we were able to relax and we really enjoyed everything that the hotel offers there are a lot of options love and care. The rooms are very clean. The hotel has very good amenities that are very comfortable in different aspects. We had a memorable experience at the club lounge! The food, cocktails, and the place itself are superb! had Richard as our service host, who was really friendly, attentive, and fast. Everything was a wonderful and easy process. It was a fantastic way to finish off an amazing time in Muscat Oman and I would recommend it to anyone travelling❤️

This was my 19th stay at The Chedi. If you are looking for relaxation combined with luxury this is the perfect and ideal place to stay. I cannot praise everyone and everything highly enough. The staff in every area are wonderful. Without exception they could not be more subtly attentive, friendly and kind. They cannot do enough to help you to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing and unforgettable. There are several restaurants - the food and service are exceptional. The staff remember your likes and dislikes from previous visits. The beds, duvets and pillows are sheer luxury. The Spa is amazing - so many wonderful treatments available in beautiful surroundings. Three pools - one to suit everyone’s needs. Set in beautiful grounds and gardens leading on to the beach. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers in many locations - luxury white fluffy towels always available. I could go on and on ……. You need to experience it for yourself. If you are looking for a very relaxing holiday being pampered in luxury surroundings then you must choose The Chedi - you will be so well looked after. I cannot recommend The Chedi highly enough.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful four night stay at The Chedi Muscat. It is a truly special place. I travel regularly for work and stay at 5* stars hotels around the world and this really is up with the best of them. From the moment we were greeted at the airport by our hotel chauffeur to the welcoming smiles at the entrance, we knew we had picked well. Our bag was delayed in arriving from London and the hotel went above and beyond to assist, offering to express laundry clothes, sent a little amenity bag of shaving kit, toothbrush, comb, etc. etc. to help my husband be more comfortable. They continued to help track down, liaising with the airport and airline. We booked a club deluxe room and the hotel very kindly treated us to an upgrade so we enjoyed the Chedi Club Suite. It was magnificent. The extra space in the lounge was great for getting some work down. The room was beautiful, and the most amazing shower amenities by Amouage, I am still dreaming of that scent! The benefits of the Club are definitely worth it - the afternoon tea meant we only had lunch on one day and that's because we wanted to try it! the cocktails and canapés in the evening were delicious and the staff in the lounge so accommodating and friendly, a theme. The room also included complimentary laundry, so nice not to go home with a suitcase full of washing! the airport transfer in a lovely BMW 7 series was also included. The mini-bar is also included and replenished daily including spirits. It is a lovely property, low rise white building, three lovely pools (one was being refurbished whilst we were there but didn't matter as the hotel was very quiet), great restaurants but it is the staff that really what it the special place that it is. They are sooooo wonderful, friendly yet professional, delivering an incredibly high level of service, from everyone in the restaurants (special mention to Anton, Richard, Milet and Shwe who looked after us soooo well), the housekeeping staff who are just on it, the grounds and maintenance that work tirelessly to keep it spotless, the spa and gym - I have a lovely yoga session, our chauffeurs to / from the airport, just everyone. The food in the restaurants is of a high standard, their menu interesting with different dishes to accommodate different tastes and diets. The brunch on Friday was great, so delicious sushi. Breakfast is a mixture of buffet and a la carte with an extensive selection of fruits, cereals, pastries, etc. complimented by eggs and other hot dishes. The BEST hash browns! We would highly recommend, and hope to go for longer next time to really enjoy the hotel but also visit the surrounding areas. It is only c. 20 minutes from the airport and close to the city so easy enough to enjoy some culture as well. Arrived just at the end of August (31st) and the weather was perfect - hot but there was a lovely sea breeze.

The Chedi We just left The Chedi after 6 fantastic nights staying there for our honeymoon. From the minute you arrive at The Chedi you are greeted by happy, friendly and efficient staff. We stayed in a deluxe room which was plenty big enough, with nice amenities, comfy bed and the standard turn down service every night- no complaints at all about the room. The contents of the mini bar was replenished daily and was free of charge which was a nice surprise. It contained a couple of beers, gallons of water, and some soft drinks too. Some other nice touches like a fruit bowl, pistachios and apricots all provided free of charge. We bought a bottle with us, so with a bucket of ice delivered by room service, made for a few nice pre dinner snacks and gin and tonics. The hotel itself is incredibly well kept, clean and maintained well. The pool areas (there are 3) are all immaculate with comfy sun loungers/ beds and parasols- with cold towels and iced water brought to you on a very frequent basis (again at no charge). It was a shame the long pool was closed for half of our stay for maintenance, but we came at a quiet time before peak season. Shout out to Viraj around the pool, top bloke and fantastic friendly service all week. The gym, has to be one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen. Incredibly well equipped, again with complimentary bottled water and fruit for afterwards. There are also lovely steam rooms and saunas for men and women individually. The FOOD!?!? Can’t rate this more highly. We opted for half board which was 10000% the right decision. A beautiful breakfast every morning with everything you could wish for. We ate lunch a couple of times at the beach pool restaurant which was very good food and reasonably priced too. The evening dinners were simply sensational. We expected the half board option to give you limited choice, but you were able to choose 3 courses from an unlimited and incredibly extensive menu. Cannot rave about the food enough- it surpassed all expectations. We ate at the beach restaurant one night (again everything on the menu was included within the half board other than caviar…) which was a nice change of atmosphere and again- incredible food. Highly recommend the Lobster Thermidor, was by far and away the best I’ve had. If you aren’t half board, expect to spend 40 OMR + per person on dinner and 23 OMR per person on breakfast. On reflection, the half board saved us a chunk of change. MEN, PLEASE TAKE NOTE- I took 6 pairs of shorts to wear to dinner, which did not get worn as they have a trousers only dress code for men which is strict!! Again, staff were fantastic- thank you to Mita, Om, Mustafa and Anita who were superb. We hired a car to be delivered to the Chedi through Europcar who were very helpful and straight forward. The roads in Oman are very easy to navigate and very similar to driving in the UK- beware the speed cameras however. With regard to things to do, the hotel booked us a snorkelling trip to the Daymaniyat Islands which was excellent, we saw turtles and it was incredibly well priced. We also visited the Green Mountains which is quite a drive and a 4x4 is necessary, but highly recommend it. Overall a superb stay and would have no hesitation to advise other travellers to stay at The Chedi. Will & Alice Saunders
