This was our fourth visit in some six years. We still find this hotel one of the nicest in which we have stayed. Our room was really spacious and comfortable, with plenty of wardrobe space and room for a large sofa in additon to other, more usual, bedroom furniture. There was also a really excellent shower room. On this occasion... More

Stayed at Chateau de Creissels. Great place to stay, view of bridge. Ate in the hotel restaurant also excellent. Highly reccomend! Good value. The appetizer was similar to a shepherd's pie. Very good. Filet of cod excellent, as was the filet of Beuf. For dessert was a carmelized pear. Everything was very good.

Good place to stay for a few days. Service is excellent. We stayed in a smallish room with a relatively large bathroom with walk-in shower. All very clean. Bed is good. Breakfast is good (continental). Small pool. Large car park. Restaurant is quite good.

An interesting Chateau with an even more interesting history. If your in the area do have an overnight or at the least a couple of days stay. Staff were very helpful and as there is no lift they ensured our baggage was delivered to our room without hesitation. Restaurant in the old guards hall being part of the original Castle... More

We stayed on our way home from Spain and I am glad we did. This is a quiet, superbly appointed hotel, based in an old chateau overlooking Milau from the south and the bridge off to the west. Even though it was busy the hotel felt quiet; there are lots of remarkable paintings, a range of local memorabilia and some... More

We booked the special package of one night plus dinner plus breakfast in this 12 Th C chateau for 235Euro and requesting a room in the old section to experience first hand the beautiful antiques. Firstly the charge was good value overall so would recommend you look for this. Secondly the room was very special with period furniture and a... More

What an experience! The hotel and restaurant are run as two different businesses. The hotel is fine but the restaurant is one of the worst experiences we have had in France. Our advice is when staying at the hotel avoid the restaurant at all cost. The hotel has the rustic charm of a chateau with even a billard room. The... More

Fantastic area and a lovely rustic hotel. Room was comfortable, food was good in the restaurant and the staff were friendly. We were only there briefly but it was a welcoming place and we could have stayed a lot longer. We arrived (plenty of parking) and had a relaxing beer in the garden overlooking the pool and the bridge. Restaurant... More

Chosen for its good position on the route from Catalonia back to the UK, this place is a find. Rooms are a good size and the refurbishment has been thorough with clean lines, good flooring and marble bathrooms. We close a twin room, for the terrace and this was worthwhile, with a nice view out to the gardens. The A/C was... More

My wife & I stayed in the Chateau de Creissels for three nights during July. After booking on line we were not totally sure how it would be. We need not have worried it was excellent on all levels. The location is superb and you can see the Viaduct from the terrace! Our was room a superior and had its... More
