We stayed at Hotel Stelor for a week. It's lovely, a really charming stay on Gotland. The room we stayed in was really big (on the first floor), and the bathroom (and shower) excellent. The breakfasts were generous and tasty, and the owners really helpful, warm and friendly. Another plus was the top quality restaurant next door where we ended...

we had the best stay at hotel stelor! everything was absolutely perfect. the charm of it being a converted old farmhouse is something you just don't get often. each morning we were greeted by Charlotta who made us the most amazing breakfast spread...freshly baked bread, fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt parfait, porridge, chia seed pudding, eggs, tons of jams, coffee, tea,...

Staying at the Hotel Stelor is the cherry on top of the lovely cake that is Gotland. The hotel is beautiful, charming and extremely comfortable. We love our spacious suites, the cozy sitting room, the fabulous breakfast, but most of all, we love being taken care of by Emma (who checked us in) and Lotta (who looked after us during...

We were entranced! Very old farm house with massive thick walls. The decor is simple Swedish with thoughtful touches. (The only small complaint is the lack of a wardrobe or closet. Our hanging things all went into the drawers-of which there were plenty.) The common area while small is charming with a fire going and a few couple siting around...

Stelor is a stylish, comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. Karin and Anders and their team are relaxed, knowledgeable hosts who were eager to help. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with 100% local, organic produce. Overall, an ideal base from which to explore a beautiful island.

We have been to Stockholm many times but this was our first visit to Gotland. And we are so pleased we came. A visit made even more special by the four days at Hotel Stelor. It doesn't have the 'wow' factor when you arrive, but it really grows on you! We stayed in bedroom number 3 which was extremely spacious...

One of the things I love about TripAdvisor is it helps you find out-of-the-way places that might not show up on Expedia or Hotels.com. Hotel Stelor is one of these hidden gems. The small farmhouse-turned-inn provides a comfortable, homey spot from which you can explore Gotland by car or by bike. Karen is a fabulous hostess--warm, friendly and helpful. She...

If you want to relax and really get away from things, Hotel Stelor on Gotland is the place to go. The owners, Karin and Anders are really welcoming and their attention to detail can be seen throughout the hotel from the artwork on the walls, breakfast selection, menu for dinner and the beautiful rooms. They are also super helpful, to...

Hotel Stelor was such an amazing experience. Don't have enough good things to say about the place. My girlfriend and I travelled here in October which is pretty quiet in Gotland - we were one of only two rooms booked at the hotel. Karin and Anders could not have treated us better though; we felt like true VIP guests. Karin...

“Our room was great, but I understand room #3 is divine. This is a perfect place to bring a book and sit under a tree and enjoy the coziness. You can also jump on one of their bikes and pedal into town. We did it and it was heavenly. Whatever you decide to do - the staff will take good care of you. Just book a room and try it. You will love it.”

“We stayed in room 4 which was lovely - fanstastic bathroom and fascinating old stove - at the top of the hotel. It did have a low light which my husband kept bumping his head on so perhaps choose another room if you are tall and accident prone.”
