We had an incredible stay at this beautiful chalet in the French Alps, thanks to the exceptional hosting of Carrie and Graham. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made the experience unforgettable. The chalet was perfect for our group of two adult families, with just the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms to ensure everyone had space and privacy. It was impeccably clean and maintained to the highest standards, making it a truly comfortable and relaxing retreat.

The food was another highlight—every meal felt like a gourmet experience, and the wine and cheese pairings were a delightful touch we looked forward to each evening. The chalet’s location couldn’t have been better: ski-in/ski-out access made hitting the slopes effortless, and the short walk to the village allowed us to explore the local charm with ease. The exceptional service and amenities made this a fantastic value for money, and we couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you, Carrie and Graham, for a truly memorable holiday!

Lovely chalet close to the slopes, almost ski on and off and only a short walk to the shops and gondola. The chalet itself is very comfortable, traditionally decorated and a lovely fire to warm you after a day of skiing. The boot/ski store room is very well equipped with plenty of space and even provides glove drying facilities. The open bar makes it a very relaxing experience particularly when enjoyed with the secluded jacuzzi under the snow covered trees. There are plenty of games and books to entertain you in the evening should you so wish.
The hosts were absolutely amazing and made the experience very special. Both clearly very experienced and knew how to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. The food and wine was utterly delicious and very special. We felt very spoilt with the considered menu, multi coursed feast with paired wine. The chef was only too happy to adjust meals to specific dietary requirements without failing to provide a foody event. It was a treat.

we had a lovely 4 night stay at Chalet Torrent with Carrie and Graham who truly spoilt us. The location was great a short walk to the green into La Tania, or ski in ski out if your ability allows.

The hot tub was great after a day of skiing and the chalet was always warm and comfortable. The bedrooms were all a good size en-suites.

The food was amazing, Graham is a very talented chef. The meals were 4/5 course and offered a variety of meat, fish, vegetarian dishes. We had canapés every night and afternoon tea and cake when we returned after skiing. The chalet offered an open bar with a variety of drinks on offer from soft drinks, beers, wine and bubbles.

due to the size of our party, we stayed with other groups. However the chalet was plenty big enough to cope with this, with a couple of seating areas, hot tub, dining table etc, Carrie was also great at ensuring everyone was comfortable and mingled with each other.

The ski area of the three valleys is vast with amazing snow cover.

The chalet as a whole was fabulous and Carrie was a great host who made sure we had everything we needed and looked after us. That coupled with Grahams food the stay was a great success. I would highly recommend.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Chalet Le Torrent - and it only ever gets better! Carrie & Graeme are an amazing couple and nothing is ever too much trouble for them - even snowboarding halfway up a mountain to retrieve a lost phone after we had departed, then posting it on to us.

They are the perfect hosts, and are rightly proud of their beautiful chalet with fantastic rooms overlooking the mountains, a very spacious well equiped bootroom, and a much appreciated hot tub for relaxing those tired muscles with a glass of bubbly, after skiing all the way home to the chalet.

Graeme's meals are outstanding in every way, with an ability to provide so many courses that both look amazing and taste absolutely fabulous. Each meal is superbly paired with a french wine by Carrie, making every mealtime a real treat to look forward to at the end of a day skiing.

Do I sound too gushy? Absolutely! I have no desire to stay anywhere else in La Tanya now and am already in the process of booking next year's holiday at Chalet Le Torrent with Carrie & Graeme. Roll on 2025!

This is a beautiful chalet, with an excellent location just off the piste allowing for us to ski back directly. Carrie and Graeme are charming, freindly hosts.

The basics are all met, in that it is clean and well maintained and there is always lots of hot water for baths and showers. We all LOVED the outdoor jacuzzi and Carrie goes the extra mile in setting up ski hire delivered to your door. organising ski passes and running people down to the slopes if the short walk is too slippery or tiring.

The food that Graeme cooks is delicious. The dinners are an extremely high standard and Carrie chooses wonderful wines to pair with all the courses. It is also a treat to have a full blown breakfast plus great afternoon tea.

This was a wonderful chalet holiday for my family and friends I would highly recommend it.

WOW. Chalet Torrent is a cut above the rest. I can honestly say I have never experienced a catered chalet like it. The chalet itself is warm and inviting, all of the rooms are spacious, with plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space, comfortable bedding and all rooms have an ensuite with bath and hot shower. Huge boot room with heated boot and glove racks - plenty of space for all 12 of us to get ready down there together.
You can ski in from a green run down a short track and its just a short walk to join the slope slightly further down to get going in the morning. It is also just a 5 minute walk into La Tania. All of the three valleys are totally accessible from here.
The hot tub is also a great addition and just what you need for those aching muscles.
However, the best part of this trip was Carrie and Graham. They literally couldn't do enough for you! Graham even bringing us prosecco out to the hot tub and hanging our robes! The quality of the food was sensational every evening and paired with fabulous wines picked by Carrie. Their knowledge and passion was a glory to be around (especially Carrie with our nightly cheese board :)).

Thank you both for such a fabulous trip - Cannot wait for a second trip.

There are chalets and then there is Chalet torrent - with Carrie and Graham at the helm. This is not an ordinary chalet. Why?
- all rooms are double or twins with en-suites with baths - so no trying to agree on who has best rooms
- this is not run by inexperienced chalet staff but complete seasoned pros. Everything is thought of for you
- there’s a great hot tub for soothing achey legs

But the most exceptional aspect is the food, wine and hosting. Don’t even bother cooking if you want plain or hearty average grub. This is beautifully laid breakfast through to afternoon tea and then an epic food experience each evening -canapés and fizz, amuse bouches, starters, mains, pud and cheese - oh and petit four treats with teas and coffees.

We’ve been returning to Come ski for at least 8 years now because we can’t find anything comparable with such extensive skiing on your doorstep.

If you love food, matched wines, stories of provenance, relaxed but attentive hosting - this is for you.

Graham and Carrie - you are the best. Thank you for another incredible week.

Maybe the best holiday of my life?
I cannot recommend La Tania & Carrie & Graeme highly enough.
Where to start....
The chalet itself is absolutely gorgeous. So cosy & beautifully chic, amazingly comfortable beds (hard mattresses - perfect for me!) and wonderful pillows. Super great baths & so warn.
Wood panels in the living room with a great fire and amazing views of the valley.
The location is perfect, ski in and ski out & so close to the lifts.
The hot tub was a dream!!! You can literally watch the moon rise from sitting in a a bit tub in the Alps? Unbelievable. An extraordinary experience.
But the highlight of the trip for me has to be the lovely lovely Graeme & Carrie. Graeme is an incredibly talented chef and he also was incredibly accomodating for my annoying food requirements (I can't eat garlic) Every breakfast was delicious & dinner was just unbelievable.
Carrie is so kind and welcoming, they're just very very good at their jobs and made us feel so welcome and well taken care of
Thank you!
