Tidy and clean, good location
The hotel itself is good, the bar on site and restaurant are currently closed and look like they have been for a while
The rooms are clean and tidy, with fridge, hairdryer and balcony
The shower door was damaged and wouldn't shut properly, the balcony table was damaged, as was the Aircon Louvre in our room 304
However the room was clean, domestic staff were very efficient as were the staff at breakfast
The car park is limited, but we got a space, ( moving the vehicle when others vacated)
The hotel images show a smart boutique hotel, it isn't quite what they show
The morning staff and night guy were friendly, but the lady on reception in the afternoon wouldnt even move her eyes from the computer,
The hotel is literally 20 steps from the beach , so position is fab.
The restaurant next door is amazing ate there twice , plus coffees and drinks whilst at the beach
Sea view rooms look over the kitchens from the next door restaurant, but the smell of wood fired pizza os only noticeable when the wind changes,
2/3 of the staff were very friendly
Rooms were clean and tidy , but need some repairs (shower screen handl missing, balcony table broken, air con Louvre broken)
Aside from that, for what we paid , it was decent value, in a good location and I can recommend the bar and restaurant next door.
A bit more focus could make this an amazing hotel, the pictures aren't accurate , it's not as chic as it looks
Great for 2 nights though :)

We only stayed here for 1nt as a stopover but wish we had longer as it's a great hotel in a lovely location right on the water. Staff at reception were very helpful with local transport information etc. Rooms and bed were very comfortable and a good shower.
Breakfast the next morning was great - wide selection and variety of food.
I would stay here again.

This hotel is very friendly and rather well located... provided you have a car.
Our room was located at the back of the hotel, not the sea side, which is a good thing for 2 reasons; less hot in summer and no noise pollution from the restaurant and passers-by on the seaside. The room was OK.
The weak point of this hotel is its poor organization, and especially the fact that the hotel and the restaurant are managed separately.
Although we had booked half board, we found ourselves one evening at 8 p.m. having to wait for a table to become available because no table had been reserved for us. As a result, the other evenings, we had to come to dinner at 7:30 p.m. maximum to be sure of having a table. Not great when you're on vacation!
And it's a shame, because apart from this painful time constraint, it's here that we ate the best among the 3 hotels during our Croatian stay.
Breakfast is very good with dairy products available. The breakfast room offers a bay window overlooking the sea. Nice in the morning!
There is parking, and it is free. A real plus.
There is a beach right opposite, easy for swimming at the end of the day.
In the evening, it is pleasant to walk along the seaside to Kastel Kambelovac.
We had a good stay here. Too bad about this restaurant problem.

General hygiene of this hotel is awful. Woke up covered in hundreds of ants and bugs, fridge was filthy and mouldy, floor was sticky, air con did not work. I was promised a refund but have heard anything now when I email, just being outright ignored so have decided to post pictures of the place!

It was a bit of an accident as I returned from Supetar and then wanted to visit Krka Park so decided to hire a car which then enabled me to stay at a hotel outside of Split centre where it was then much cheaper. This hotel was chosen with no knowledge and then to get an evening meal at the restaurant next door was great. The hotel itself was fine and clean with the staff being very helpful in directing me to get to Krka.
The restaurant next door was extremely busy the 2 nights I stayed and also the whole area was very hot indeed still being around 35C when trying to eat hot food in the evening but the weather is no one's fault and after all it was July! The beach is literally a minute from the front of the hotel and is a popular place with the locals and so it should be!

the hotel has modern architecture. The quality is fair and the service is very good. I would recommend the receptionist, Maria. Very nice, helpful person, speaking several languages. We have spent 2 weeks there and I would recommend this hotel for everyone. For the first sight, we were not so happy, as the place is a bit too calm - only 1-2 restaurants in walking distance, same number of pubs/caffees, it is not so much. But it gives you peace, that you can not have in more crowdy places. You can rent a bike, you can walk along all Kastels, where you can find more caffees and restaurants. It is very good option, that you CAN have, if you want. What you have for sure is peacful place, which you need to have full relax. Kastel Kambelovac is also in half way between Trogir and Split, which gives you excellent opportunity to visit both cities. Please take a look at Solin (Salona) - antient former city, built B.C, where Diokletian was born. It is not so popular place, and it is a pity. You can take bus no.37 at take off just before Split. Ask the driver. Highly recommended for everyone, interested in antient architecture. /// The restaurant (conoba) which is placed near hotel is also very good quality. Some days were even over crowded, which means it is popular. Very good and nice service.

The hotel is located at a small beach, the architecture of the place is remarkable, a bit stark, light-flooded and modernistic and so are the rooms. We had a very clean room, equipped with all you would expect and were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff. As there's a restaurant next door, we had a bit of noise during the night and as the walls are quite thin, you'll as well hear sounds from the hallway in the room. Breakfast is good as well with a variety of hearty and sweet dishes and fair coffee. All in all an enjoyable place.

I love this hotel. For me, everything is perfect! It has a brilliant location really close to the sea. It is fun for tourists but not extremely busy or touristy. Split and Trogir as well as other Kastels nearby and cheap and easy to walk or get bus to.
Staff at hotel are really friendly. Rooms are great with everything you need (except no tea making facilities for fellow English travellers!!). Rooms cleaned everyday to a very high standard but by staff who actually choose the right moment for you when they know you are definitely out.
Wifi was good
Fridge in room fine (not noisy as noted elsewhere)
Mountain view is great (quiet and not too hot)
Yummy breakfast
Good restaurant next door

This modern built (80s probably) hotel is set in rather a strange "no mans land" location outside Split, which for me had little charm - but on the plus side, the staff were very pleasant and it was clean and the rooms were clean also. The barman Ivan and the rooftop bar were the two best things about this hotel (though the chairs were very uncomfortable in the bar).
The reception staff were very helpful as they helped us get to the hospital in the middle of the night and with other less urgent matters also. I would say that it is only the staff that make this property, otherwise I would prefer to book something smaller and more interesting which would be less expensive.
Although the hotel is by the sea (beach is pebbly and busy in July) the view from our hotel room was the roof of a restaurant and a grill chimney which billowed out barbeque grill smoke most of the day and night. We had to move room to the ground floor to avoid it. This meant we overlooked the car park. We were given a twin, not a double. It made use of the balcony very difficult.
The breakfast was odd, in that the orange juice brown and horrible, the coffee diabolical. On one day there was no breakfast left as there was a group in the breakfsat room together and they scoffed the lot leaving a few scraps of bread.
The restaurant in front of the hotel did offer a large menu and it was adequate but I would not rave about it.
This hotel was (through my own fault for allowing it) booked for us by Croatia ala Carte, a local tour operator who did not listen to what I wanted and booked me into hotels that I would never personally recommend (especially at the price we paid) if you want hotels with charm or elegance, go elsewhere. I paid twice the price I should have for this hotel.

My visit at Baletna Skola was brief, but I found it to be charming and quite an authentic taste of local culture.
The hotel is basic, but the rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. A/C and fridge work and beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast offer good variety with scrambled eggs (with or without ham), boiled or fried eggs; two choices of sausage, a variety of fresh cheese and breads and fresh pastry including Italian style cornettos with nutella or jam (croissants with filling) and fresh fruits.
Best of all - the coffee machine uses real coffee beans not instant coffee mix. A real treat!
The best aspect of staying at this hotel is the service; staff is very friendly and helpful and one feels from the first day treated as part of a family.
Plus all staff speaks exceptionally good english.
The hotel is located close to Trogir, which is a very nice location for beach and white water rafting and , if you are a Game of Thrones fan, you can visit Kastela set location of Bravos!
Definitely looking forward to my next visit to this hotel.
