We were lucky enough to stay here as a family group to celebrate my parent's golden wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was faultless. The rooms are of a very high standard, spotlessly clean & with everything you could wish for. We stayed...

This is a wonderful, and excellent value for money hotel in Mecina Fondales. The location is spot on for exploring the region, and the village has restaurants and a bar for the evenings. The hotel is charming, with good sized rooms, a fantastic garden and beautiful plants throughout the hotel. The owners were very friendly and helped out with walks,...

24 of us stayed at this beautiful Alpujarran Hotel where we enjoyed superb food, the staff and management looked after us exceedingly well. We were on a week's walking holiday where are walks were superbly led by Dan Shaffrey of Ibex Trex. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is fairly traditional rather than the off putting minimalist styles of some places. We stopped for lunch and were delighted by the delicious local produce on offer. The owner was very welcoming and obviously proud of his high standards. The hotel looked so good we wished we were staying over. Maybe in the future.

Hotel with a lot of books, why?, probly because the rooms have no TV. We got a nice colorful room. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was a positive surprice. We had cod in the mountains and the meal was very good. A family runned hotel to recommend.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, full of local colour and character, with a garden full of plants and flowers and a large pool. The staff are very efficient while ensuring a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast and evening meal at the hotel and, although tiny, Mecina has a couple of other bars/restaurants and nearby villages like Pitres and Pampaneira...

We had a room for four people which was very reasonable price. The balcony overlooking the valley was pleasant. The service was warm and friendly and nothing was too much bother - hot water for tisanes, books for guidance, information on the area. It was a very relaxing two days and this isa great place from which to explore the...

We stayed for three nights whilst on a walking holiday and were charmed by the style of the hotel, full of art and interesting nooks and most wonderfully whilst we were there scented by the huge jasmine bush in the Arcadian gardens. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with a large flower filled terrace. Sadly we managed to...

The two Victors were very welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble and we were given a particularly warm welcome (nd cava!) as the first British guests booked through Inntravel. Victor Senior managed to arrange tickets for us to visit the Alhambra palaces later in the week for a time and date when they were already sold out...
