We had a fantastic two night stay at Screebe House. A very nice room, beautiful bathroom, nice gym, pool and sauna and extremely good dinner. The service was excellent. Screebe House and everyone involved really topped my expectations. Highly recommend

Spent 2 nights in Screebe & absolutely loved it. Our room (7) was comfortable & had incredible views out onto the lake. The shower in particular was great & the Voya toiletries were much appreciated. The real draw though was the dinner - incredible tasting menu that will take your likes/dislikes into account if you advise them in advance. It... More

Screebe House was THE highlight of our trip to Ireland. The facilities were beautiful. The views of the surrounding landscape were breathtaking. The staff was super friendly, accommodating and helpful. The meals we had there were, without a doubt, the best in all of Ireland. If you are traveling to the west of Ireland, you MUST stay here and you... More

On our first trip to Ireland my husband and I had Screebe House recommended to us. We experienced a truly wonderful stay! The house was beautifully decorated and inviting. Spacious and comfortable suite (although beware the lack of plug ins) with incredible views. The house staff and servers were charming and thoroughly on board with making our stay a fabulous... We travelled as a couple and could not fault the accommodation. The house truly is stunning with gorgeous gardens and views and beautifully maintained. We were greeted warmly by Duncan the Manager and shown the house and facilities. Our room was top class with a beautiful bay window to showcase the stunning views. We used the pool and massage facilities... More

What a place, what a view, what an experience! Even on a rainy western Ireland day, this place was gorgeous. From the moment we entered and met Susie (?sp) it was like being home. My wife and I have spent many a night in B&Bs t=in the states, and this is Equivalent if not superior to the vast majority (maybe... More

My wife bought me two nights and dinner here. We had a wonderful time, Great views, facilities , staff and food!! The only difficulty was access due to a lot of work being done on the Galway- Clifden road, but it was worth the effort

Perfect. Kind of speechless as everyone has different tastes, however this place is pure class. Only issue is when the time comes to depart, you don't want to leave. Henry makes sure you feel at home. A very special treat, worth the trek & see the views and the countryside that Padraig Pearse use to frequent. Let Henry take care... More

Stayed here for two nights. Location is beautiful on edge of an estuary and in the heart of beautiful Connemara. The garden was very interesting and well kept full of quirky ornaments!. House in excellent condition and room was great with lovely sea view. Staff very friendly and food was excellent. Only quibble was that the shower water on both... More

Stayed for 2 nights, including one dinner. Henry, Suzie and the staff are wonderfully laid back and welcoming, and they work really hard to make everyone comfortable. The house is small, with just 8 rooms, plus 2 in the new pool/spa building. Our room (No.1) was small but comfortable, with nice bed, and high quality linen, towels, robes, and toiletries.... More
