This Hotel is in a lovely spot. Breakfasts were lovely and the staff were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with a refurb, but, lovely and clean. Cannot fault the cleanliness. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had 3 lovely nights sleep. I did find it a little precarious on an...

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at the Schooners Hotel and I can't recommend it highly enough. Joanna and the staff all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and have lots of helpful advice re boat trips and the islands. Our room was spotless, the bed had a good mattress, the shower worked well and...

My husband and I booked to stay at Schooners hotel from 29th August to 3rd September. We were well looked after by Joanna and her team of friendly staff. The hotel is in a brilliant location, very convenient for the shops and the harbour where boats leave for the off islands each morning. We had an amazing sea view from...

We tried The Schooner for our fourth visit to St Mary's .We were not disappointed! It was recommended by an acquaintance on our last visit .You would not choose it from the outer appearance .The entrance door was down a gloomy alleyway .Inside it was warmth all the way .On entering our room (No.1 first floor ) we uttered "Wow"...

The hotel is in the centre of St Marys and minutes from the port for boats to other islands. We had a lovely sea view room which was right on the beach. With a wide window we could spend time just watching the boats and the birds from the comfort of our own room. The staff could not have been...

A small, friendly welcoming hotel. As a 2 star hotel this is not grand, the rooms are small but very comfortable with everything you need. The food was excellent, please consider eating there in the evening, for £10 you will not get a better 3 course meal. There is a small bar with sofas where we chatted with other guests....

I stayed at Schooners hotel from Saturday 13/8 till Tuesday 16/8 in August 2016. I was warmly welcomed by the staff. First: I arrived by the Scillonian III and my luggage disappeared. The Isles of Scilly Steamship company lost all interest in me and my missing luggage after 17 o'clock when they closed the office for the weekend. But Joanna...

Tucked off the main street in Hugh Town, this little inn has just about everything you need. The rooms that do not have views of the sea are a bit disappointing, but there is a guests' lounge where you can admire the view, as well as a bar that has a sea view. The linens are quite nice. Breakfast can...

My wife, myself and our two kids, (17 and 18), had an eight day break at the Schooners in August and had a truly marvellous time. My wife and I had room 15 on the top floor, and though a bit of a climb, it was well worth it with beautiful side window views of Town Beach and the quay,...
