Got to make it clear, I did not stay at this hotel, but travelled to it to babysit my grand children while their parents had a few hours adult time, but we stayed long enough to form a few opinions, the first is that we arrived in the dark, so please, could you put some illumination on your hotel sign,... We were 3 couples who had a glorious stay at this 'character' hotel on the Cornish Coast. A unique experience was had by all. The food was excellent. The bar was not pricey. The staff were very friendly and unobtrusive. The coastline is glorious. We will all be going back! Thanks guys!

We booked a family room as we needed space for our three month old baby. Unfortunately the room Was in the roof of the hotel which meant walking up 3 sets of stairs and going through 6 sets of fire doors! Not ideal at all and proved extremely difficult carting a pram down every night- we would have hoped to... More

The service is good, staff very welcoming, The room on our deal didn't have a sea view but was clean and tidy and spacious enough for a family of 4. The location of the hotel is stunning and you can easily... More

We stayed for 3 nights in October half term. Our children are 5 and 6 and this was by far the most relaxing family break we've all had together. The family room we had (room 2) had a double and a twin in it. Room facilities more than adequate and very clean. The staff could not have been more welcoming... More

This is a regular place for us to visit. Second time this year. Golf break this time with 6 friends. All enjoyed the food and hospitality. Nothing too much trouble for the family and staff. Food is excellent and only complaint is the portions are sometimes too large! The rooms vary greatly but are always clean and well presented. Room... More

I have visited the restaurant on 3 occasions now and had the set lunch at a cost of £12 for 2 courses. The menu offers a good choice. Fish, salads, pastas, pies, gammon and steak etc. Scrumptious puds!! The food is well presented very tasty and excellent value. Complimentary tea and coffee is served in the lounge. The views are...
