Hotel's Favorite
My second time at this wonderful hotel!
I came here a few years ago when visiting Paris. It is well located being far enough, yet close enough to the city centre and tourist attractions of Paris.
The hotel is accessible by Metro Line #1 with some express options as well (I didn't go express, but the hotel told me of the option). The Metro Station is literally a stone's throw in front of the hotel. The #1 Metro Line gets you to central Paris (The Louvre and more) in about 20-25 minutes (as of this writing: €2.15 for a single ticket - other options available for more frequent metro trips).
The hotel is attached to an upscale shopping mall in a business district with many skyscrapers and another shopping mall with shops and fast-food eateries across a wide open plaza.
The property & room are clean, modern and tastefully done with a super comfortable bed for a restful night. Being that it is outside the city centre, it's blessedly quiet.
The hotel staff from reception/front desk to the bartenders are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and ready to lend a hand to answer any questions & concerns.
The breakfast buffet provides plenty of hot/cold choices for a good start to the day.
Overall, I'm glad I came back to the Hilton Paris La Defense!
Merci à tous!!

This Hilton is embedded in a shopping mall which your taxi or uber will struggle to get near. You may end up dragging your cases across various access roads and kerbs to reach the mall. Your experience then involves navigating your way through the mall to find the unimpressive entrance buried down a corridor. Check-in was efficient but you will soon notice the hotel is very dark with no natural light in public areas. My room window was inside the hotel, overlooking the bar, offered zero privacy, and meant I could be anywhere in the world rather than in Paris. The room was well equipped but the refreshment tray was empty with no tea or coffee, this remained the case despite me making reception aware (it was partially refilled but no milk/cream was added). Water bottles were empty with a branded filling station near the lifts. This did not work and was removed during my stay; despite this the empty bottles were left in my room as a sad reminder. As a room is over €200 a night is it too much to expect these basics to be in place?
This is unlike any other Hilton I’ve stayed in. I’ll look for alternatives next time I need to travel to the area.

Dear Mr. Terry, Please accept my sincere apologies for the experience you had while you were staying with us in January 2023. After the full renovation of the bedrooms in 2022, the hotel performs the renovation of the lobby and entrance. That's why the lobby and rooms facing the lobby are not as bright as they usually are. On top of this we did a trial on new water fountain which were not a success. We hope to welcome you back to Hilton Paris La Defense soon. Kind regards, Emmanuel More General Manager

Hotel located in the CNIT
Pleasant welcome.
Very spacious, quiet room overlooking the square, some negative points bathroom/toilet door does not close, bedside table with the bottom broken and placed on the table, HS magnifying mirror lighting
Quick cleaning, no refilling of water bottles
Hallway with dishes all day
Varied breakfast, very friendly staff
Parking under the CNIT with direct access to the hotel, provide a small car…

I traveling a lot, both business and as tourist. This was a most disappointing hotel in my experience, especially relative to the price. The room looks nice and clean, sometimes kitchen
smell is reaching the bath of the room (in 4-th floor) by ventilation my guess, but most of the time during my staying, there is no water in taps (both sink and shower) during some repair works in a area. No warning/information was got from a reception regarding the water availability, even aprox. schedule. The mineral water in room was not resupplied daily (also coffee, tea bags and the rest of small renewable things) After my comply, the announcement was printed and the mineral water was appeared as a one big stock beside the elevator. The hotel have a post-apocalyptical look, no much guests, bar was closed most of the evenings. Entrance under construction, most taxi drivers in a city have no idea how to rich the entrance.
When the mall is closed (early evening) the only available entrance have an intercom which is not always friendly answered, and you should stay on freezing wind long minutes trying to explain why you (as a guest of hotel) should get inside.
Then the most unbelievable and degrading thing was happened on a check-out:
It was a business trip and I arrived with an colleague, which got the room on a same floor, for same period and suffered from same problems (especially no basic ability to wash the face, brush a teeth on morning prior appearing in the office).
Then during checkout we both approached the reception, and he got a discount 3 nights of 5 for a half price for the inconvenience. Me was noticed that I expected to pay the full price. Then after I left to the airport I got invoice by mail, where 2 of 5 nights was with discount. Very satisfying, especially when it is a business trip and the company is paying it anyway. I working in a big international IT corporation, and will share my experience at least there.

I returned to this hotel after a 4 year gap. It's undergoing renovation in parts of the property. The room I was in had been refurbished and was very pleasant. The breakfast was still very good with exceptional omlettes. Best in any Hilton. Restaurant staff were polite and efficient. The problem is the housekeeping. Previously it was OK and no more. This time it took 3 requests every day to get the tissues replaced in the bathroom and late evening deliveries on 2 days when there was no shower gel in the dispenser and the same with the handwash. Apart from the housekeeping issues its still a good hotel with great staff and I will return.

4 star hotel that is actually equivalent to 5 stars. Comfortable and spacious room. Extremely clean and organized. Breakfast well served with omelet options and eggs made to order. Orange juice is not freshly expressed. There could be a machine to make fresh juices. Excellent service. Great location close to line 1
Metro RER A and TER. Close to shopping mall. In fact, it is within the CNIT. I strongly recommend.

Awful service! The welcome at reception was sooooo cold! Especially after explaining what a terrible ordeal I had before arriving. Absolutely no empathy shown or given. 2 gentleman working the reception were so dismissive. Not sure if it is because they are night staff but I'm might be stuck at this hotel for the next 3 nights. Let's hope the day time staff are nicer. If this is how their hilton honours guests it is really disappointing.
Rooms are great! Especially the bathrooms. But note that if you want a room with a view facing outside rather than the train station then you need to pay €60 more😑 although the hotel is empty!
Recommend the restaurant Muses, food is great and the service is fantastic. Symane went above and beyond. So lovely. And a big thank you to the chef for squeezing my late order in❤️.

The Hilton La Defense provided a great opportunity to stay just outside Paris without paying downtown Paris hotel prices. With larger rooms and quick access to anywhere in Paris in minutes via their train system located just below the hotel, this was the perfect experience for our family. The La Defense area is safe and fun and filled with every variety of shopping and restaurants you desire.
As a Hilton diamond member, I travel frequently for both professional and personal travel, and without a doubt this was our nicest stay at a Hilton property thus far.
While the property has been hit hard by the pandemic, the Hilton employees went out of their way to ensure my family and I had an exceptional experience. Each morning we were welcomed with open arms for an amazing made to order breakfast and each night we were welcomed back to the hotel with a smile. We always enjoy our Hilton stays, but the employees at this hotel were absolutely exceptional!
We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

This was one of the best Hilton hotels that my husband and I ever stayed. The front desk people were extremely accommodating even offering me a room upgrade because of my Hilton Gold status. The rooms were very nice and the bathroom was very clean. My only complaint was that the restaurant had a very limited menu. However the food was delicious and service was very good.

We booked this hotel considering the connection to the city was easy and finding family accomodation in the city is hard.
This hotel offered 2 queen beds in a room and that sounded perfect.
However the service is really bad. They did not check us in in time.( they offered a late checkout because we asked)
The cleaning service is terrible.
The breakfast the worst we had to eat in France. The oversmart kitchen staff making the eggs tried to make snide remarks at us and also took the orders of those queing up behind us .When we complained they said it was a misundertanding. The cups and plates in the restaurant always dirty. You have to scan five plates before finding a clean one.

Dear Aldrina, Thank you very much for having taken the time to share your experience with us. We have a total of 35 family rooms that are indeed rare in Paris and they are very often all booked. Sorry if your room was not ready when you arrived. I am pleased that you were able to enjoy a late check out. Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you had with cleaning service and during your breakfast. We have not improved the inspection of the plates at breakfast and cleanliness of the room is also a big focus for us. Kind regards, Emmanuel More General Manager

The hotel is outside of the city center and any areas where protests are occurring (although, everything is accessible by metro). I stayed at the hotel during the original pension protests in March and experienced no impact from the protests.
Yes there is, I was just there last month, its a good location for the metro, however the hotel had a bunch of problems, no heat, no water, elevator broken, no bell service, towel service was limited. Just a heads up, if I were you go to another Hilton or brand name. Travel safe!
Hi Vincent,
