We got an exceptional deal for 2 rooms and arrived with a big family and big dog, and stayed for 3 nights to explore the sights. The hotel itself was located in the Business District and we went from a Friday to Monday and saw the difference between a work day and the weekend. The entire area was deserted on the weekend. It was an easy commute to the heart of the city via public transport and we travelled to Versailles by car. The service, except for the length of wait for valet parking, was definitely 5*. Very friendly, accommodating and highly professional. Did not eat at the hotel as we were out from 8am to 9pm seeing the sites of Paris. We were there for the Tour de France final and were baking in 35 degree heat. All in all a very pleasant experience, despite the heat. Next time we will stay closer to the city center as we want to be closer to the Champs Elysee. We will definitely do the Sofitel route again as the service to date has been very satisfying. One morning I was up a 6 am to walk the dog and even though the restaurant was not open till 6h30 the front desk manager went out of his way to make me a coffee, this made my day. The employees attitude towards our large dog (Lab-mix) was very accommodating. Would stay again for the price we paid, not sure about the regular rates, they were a bit steep if you require two rooms for family travel. Also, need to mention if your children like 9 euro bottles of water and nothing else is around. Next to a very large mall with everything, enjoyed a little shopping too :) Thank you.

Driving to Paris is easier than finding the entrance through the catacombs of La Defence: when missing the signs one ends up driving through underground La Defence - which ís an experience by itself....but once you're in the correct direction it's easy! Valet parking may not be to everyone's taste, however that's what they offer. Be sure to drive till the valet booth and no further, because then you're out of the hotel premises and back into the catacombs..... Cannot think of any negative aspect of this hotel. Beautiful lobby and very quick check in procedure, elevators always available, room very comfortable, bed & bed linnen of very high standard/sufficient pillows, bathroom excellent and for once: large fluffy towels, bath robes. Connecting window to room which can be switched to milk glass for the utmost privacy, a feature many guests will appreciate. The a/c worked wonderful; individual switch to preferable room temperature. Breakfast buffet-style, good quality and very polite and helpfull staff that recognises you after the first morning and remembers your preference of juices and hot beverages. Hotel bar pleasant,, nice staff to serve you and willing to chat. Surrounding stunning and surprising if you're into modern architecture (we are, that's why we chose this part of Paris), metro station conveniently right around the corner. All in all we spent 3 lovely nights here, definately recommend this hotel and would gladly return one day.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We had a few issues during our 1st stay however these were resolved very promptly and with great professionalism. Our second stay couldn't be better. Check-in was very quick and efficient. Breakfasts were delicious and extremely well presented. The Room was spacious, clean, quiet and modern with well a very appointed bathroom and excellent amenities. The lobby and other communal areas were spotlessly clean and modern. The staff were amazing! They were friendly and professional at all times and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is within easy reach of central Paris via metro line 1 which is almost on the doorstep. The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe business district with a large shopping mall within walking distance. Definitely recommendable for both business and leisure travellers.

The main criticism I have is that this hotel is a bit boring. It does everything it is supposed to, and very well. The beds are comfortable, the interior appealing, but its a little too same-ish - almost like a Hilton, whereas for Sofitel I was expecting it to be a bit different. That said, the service is impeccable, the staff couldn't do enough to help. The location is good for business, and close to the Metrostop, so nothing to fault. In fact, there was very little to fault, it's just a very good hotel. I was only expecting something a bit more interesting......I'd still stay here again.

Dear Natholian, Thank you for having written a review on our hotel ! I am glad to see that you enjoyed your stay with us, even if I understand that you were expecting a different design in the room ... we actually have two different designs for the rooms, art-deco or contemporary, please do not hesitate to let me know about the room you stayed in. That would be a pleasure to make you discover another room type. Your comments regarding our staff and service have been shared and very appreciated ! Looking forward to welcoming you soon for another Parisaian stay, Best regards, Albert
