The Summit River lodge is just a 3 hour drive from Kathmandu enroute to Chitwan/Pokhara close to the village of Kurintar. It offers comfortable accommodation in a semi tropical environment away from the maddening crowd. Great service and food at a reasonable price. Love the swimming pool and a hike to the nearby waterfall is highly recommended. Been here some 6+ times and loved it every time.
The bridge heading to the hotel so much fun The views around amazing The freshness around breathtaking Lifestyle simple and lovely People so polite and wonderful Must visit Try the thali and masala chai
Awesome location. The whole experience to reach the hotel from the highway was adventurous. The hotel staff were super kind and helpful. The rooms were perfect for our family of 4. The location is a paradise for sure. Will definitely come back again
Had gone there with family including my two young daughters. We had to park our vehicle at their parking space at highway, then cross a suspension bridge and then walk for about 20 mins through a nice walking track. That short hiking itself was nice. When reached at the resort, got a nice welcome with cold wet towels and lemonade to refresh ourselves. Resort was a quiet place and full of greenery and flowers. Views from the resort was lovely. Rooms were nice with nice bathroom and wifi but no TV which was okay. Amenities were okay. Electric water thermos with tea bags, coffee and milk powders put outside the rooms were really useful. Swimming pool, although small one, was a delight and attraction of the resort. Foods were okay as varieties were less. All staffs were very friendly and nice except for one at account who got irritated when I requested to change my name in the invoice. Short walk in the morning to the river side was refreshing. Overall, I recommend to place for all.…
I had dine at Summit River Lodge , " Ema - Datschi " - a bhutanese recipe. I could not find it at all at any places in Pokhara. It was so hot , chilly and delicious. Chef and staffs are friendly and welcoming.
