Nice, big, clean room. Nice bathroom. Comfortable, very kind and helpful staff. Good location - close to sea, a lot of nice tavernas near. If you would like to travel - not far from Meteors, Delfoi, Athens. Breackfast is not bad, but no more. Possible to order dinner. Swiming pool is small and, om my opinion, not useful at all.
I stayed at this hotel for three nights to adjust the time changes from the States. Simple rooms, seriously delicious breakfast (came with the night). Evvia is vacationed by Greek nationals, so it's not very touristy. Helpful and friendly staff. Will do it again next time I'm there.
The studio, was huge! And nicely decorated (modern). I got a room on the 3rd floor, in the corner, so the (again: huge!) balcony had a pleasant, open view. The windows had mosquito nets, which was great. Both rooms and the bathroom were clean, and the staff was helpful and smiling. Even though the area was very crowded, there was no difficulty with parking in the street just outside the hotel. Decent buffet breakfast for a nice start of the day, and a few mini-markets at walking distance. There's a pool, but I didn't use it. I didn't like the area, loud and crowded. But since it was a hot, summer weekend, I could have expected this :) It's a big hotel, close to a big city, and you can feel it. Nevertheless it did the job and I would recommend it if you are looking for something for a night or two while in transit.…
Had an enjoyable holiday at Evia island. Hotel is good. TV sets are old fashioned but we never switched them on. Friendly personnel who is always ready to help. Cleaning every day and no question to the quality. Food served at breakfasts might have been more various - but when you consider cost paid for the room and service - breakfast is simply bonus free of charge. Mainly local people are visiting this place - so not many to speak Russian (my native language) and I didn't spot many British or German people (as in Turkey) around this island. Mostly foreigners can be met around the sightseeing sites - Delphi, Acropolis etc. During weekends better to go to different places as Greeks from Athens come to Evia and there are traffic jams and queues at the tavernas. Most people speak English. We rented a car (from a local firm - with pick up/drop off at Athens airport) so we visited all beaches in Evia and even at Peloponnese. Good place is Lihadonisia - sandy beach and clean water. Like the place as it was convenient to go to different locations by the rented car and when we were tired of the trips - we just went to the beach. End of June - beg July - the sea was warm. Last year we were in Spain (Costa Dorada) during same days and the water was still cold compared to Greece.…
