From start to end Billa Indah was perfect. I was greeted with fresh watermelon juice and my bags carried down to my room - (lower floor with air con - the upper rooms don't have aircon. ) The room is large and airy and the bed comfortable, there is a bar fridge to keep things cool and a wardrobe for... Just 10 minutes out of central Ubud by car (50,000 Rp), Villa Indah was a wonderful, peaceful haven with absolutely beautiful views over the Ayung River valley. Clean, spacious rooms with king-size beds with mosquito nets, bar fridge, private terrace areas, a lovely pool set into the hillside, attractive landscaping and very friendly staff. As other reviewers have noted, the... More

Arrived In Ubud with the usual hustle of traffic and mopeds to be met buy our chalet boy Wayan, who could not be more obliging carrying and leading us to the villa. A great relaxing few days in the villa, which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our 'house boy' arrived each morning to prepare breakfast and was delightful young man... More

Have just returned from 10 nights at Villa Indah. This villa is perfect for friends and family staying together. The free standing villas sleep four with two bathrooms and are very clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds, air-con in some rooms and charming decor. What sets this villa apart is the the incredible lo overlooking the Ayung River. Large verandas and... More

Amazing views and sounds of the jungle and rushing river. Villas have large well positioned terraces to give you enough privacy while able to still appreciate the sweeping views. Almost every corner of the complex is beautifully landscaped. Villa rooms are large and sedately but well decorated. Always very clean with daily housekeeping. Friendly and attentive staff do their very... More

The views from all of the villas here are absolutely breathtaking and unlike anywhere else. The jungle and rice fields below plus the jungle sounds are incredible. The massive balcony is another plus and this place is set up to hang out there due to the view. There are day beds galore on your own balcony. I think we were... More

Visited with a family group and everyone raved it was their favorite stay even more than the ritzy resort. Not a cookie box tourist hotel, feels more like staying as personal guests. Location is incredible with views over rice paddies, surrounded by nature sounds from birds to geckos and the morning rooster. We had three rooms, two located in the... More

We took a family group of 15 to Villa Indah introducing approximately half to Bali for the first time. Villa Indah has all the comforts you need although a little tired but you could not expect any better for the room rate. I warned my family that it might be a bit tired but they all disagreed and thought it... More

We went with special friends....away from the commercial parts of Bali - so well looked after - all the staff were very friendly and served up wonderful breakfasts, and tasty meals - even at odd times. Would return, and recently had friends go there from our recommendation. Total relaxation - peaceful. Even used their staff to drive us to some... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Fifty minutes and a world away from the busy beach resorts of Bali is the seemingly unremarkable village of Kedewatan, but step down a humble driveway, past a traditional gate entrance, and prepare to have your breath taken away by the vast beauty of the mighty Ayung Valley. One of the most spectacular views in all Bali - you'll look out over a deep, lush river valley formed by the fast-flowing Ayung River. The Ayung is Bali's most sacred river - running from the northern mountain ranges into the sea near Sanur. Villa Indah has a range of villas to suit singles, couples and families looking for a peaceful getaway or longer-term retreat. Our villas have different views, facilities and rates - please browse our villas & find the one that is right for you. ... more   less
