We love travelling and learning local cuisine and the cooking class with Dewa did not disappoint. Dewa showed us around a local market, showed us many Balinese techniques and we ate some amazing food. Highly recommend if you’re staying here to book the private cooking class!

I was prepared to give this hotel 4 stars but unfortunately just had a rather disappointing experience. After ordering room service, I called in room dining for them to come and collect the tray (as is requested by the hotel and something I've done every night of the trip). I was asked to carry the table and trays outside my villa front door which is the first time I've been asked to do this. I'm sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous! Why should the guest have to carry everything outside when I'm paying for the meal and for an expensive supposed 5* hotel? Yes, I had my Do Not Disturb light on but I called for them to specifically come and collect the tray. Therefore, I am expecting them to come and collect the tray as I literally just called them to do. Please fix this going forward! And don't ask guests to carry trays outside unless they specifically volunteer to do that.…

Beautiful, well-run resort with a lovely pool and patio/bar, spa, and restaurant. Easy access to Ubud and activities right out the door. After a hot day of walking around Ubud and dodging motorbikes, returning to the Como was very restorative. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel nestled in rainforest part of Ubud, Bali. We arrived for a late check in at 2am and the staff had taken the initiative to save us dinner on the off chance we were hungry, which we were. Very attentive, helpful and engaging staff, always working to meet our every request including a late request for a private cooking lesson. Cannot recommend enough.

The most amazing experience! The truth is Ubud has some of the best hotels in the world and we had trouble deciding on which to stay at for our time in Ubud during our honeymoon. Hotel Como Uma Ubud was spectacular! Even despite wanting to try some of the other luxury resorts, I would absolutely come back to Como Uma Ubud. Location: decently close to city center - less than a 10 minute drive and the hotel offers a free shuttle every 2 hours during the day. Food: SO good, and we are food lovers. There are three options: pool bar, Uma Cucina (Italian), and Kemiri (breakfast only). The room rates include breakfast which is excellent. Some rates include lunch at Uma Cucina. All of it was absolutely delicious. They also offer different specials throughout the week. We had a lovely experience with Wita who offered great suggestions and was really friendly. Spa: Wow. This is what they do best! We went for the Discover Shambhala rate which included a daily treatment. All technicians were amazing! I had a massage and facial with Puri who was great and so kind. My husband had a massage with Dewa and loved it. I must say though - my massage with Yasniti was the best massage I’ve ever had. Unbelievable! Rooms/grounds: we stayed the Uma King Pool Villa which was so beautiful - overlooking the valley. I am sure all the rooms are lovely. The main pool is really large with plenty of lounge chairs. The grounds are impeccable. Staff: truly all staff was professional, attentive, and welcoming. Ayu from reception was so helpful and wonderful. Our rooms were perfectly serviced daily with plenty of sanitized water. The turn down service was lovely! Activities: they offer various activities which I highly suggest. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Bali - you MUST visit COMO Uma Ubud - this resort exceeded all of our expectations and we’re already trying to plan a trip back. EVERYTHING here is 5 star - from the service and hospitality, to the villas and views, spa services and massages, daily yoga, and location - you can’t get better than COMO Uma Ubud! Me and my husband stayed here for 8 nights and every single day we were greeted with smiles and by name - yes.. every single hotel employee knew our names and our dietary preferences. We wanted a full wellness / relaxation vacation with a mix of adventure and this resort provided it all for us. We especially loved the morning breakfast (make sure to do a floating breakfast) - I am obsessed with their signature ginger tea! We also loved our daily massages and doing yoga with Budi was absolutely amazing. The people here are what make your experience so special - we are so lucky to have stayed here. We also loved our tours and walks coordinated by the hotel with the best local tour guide Anom. The poolside staff was equally impressive - thank you Bolo and Edi for everything. The location is also a perfect distance from city center with plenty of amazing restaurants and shops within a 5 min walk. Thank you COMO Uma Ubud for making this the trip of a lifetime! Originally booked due to positive hotel reviews. Pro: friendly and very helpfull staff, very good breakfast with generous a la carte options. Cons: lack of view and worn-out Garden Villa with swimming pool as you can see on the pictures. Unfortunately not in line with what is offered on the market especially when compared to other shortstay offerings in Bali, perhaps as a result of Covid. Cost does not signal (high) quality.
