had a triple room and this was rather crowded and was glad that it was really only for one night as they had moved a 3rd bed from another room which must have taken some shifting - glad it was only for one night It was Ok and central otherwise

I had to stay 2 nights in this hotel as it seems it is the best option in the town. The first night, there was a political meeting with music at a very loud music until 10pm... I had a room in the main building. So small that I could not open my luggage ! The walls were full of...

I stayed in one of the bungalows behind the main hotel building and I was delighted with it. It was very spacious with a couch, an easy chair, nightstand, bed, and wardrobe all fitting in easily with room to spare. The bathroom is equally spacious with a large walk-in shower. And everything was clean, especially the bathroom and the toilet...

hotel is relatively new, only few months under operation, but already in very bad condition: cold water available with pressure so-so, spraying everywhere, warm water just a dream, no wardrobe in the room, old table with nails standing out, window doesnt close completely - have mosquitos in the room, toilet seat not fixed. free internet is being used by everybody...

This hotel is actually a building site, that is depressing enough but the water did not work either. There was a tub of water in the bathroom but that did give you the overnight option of either having a 'nubian' showing or flushing the toilet, not enough water for both. If you were to have a shower in teh bathroom...

It is 03.49 and music across the road from the Lal Hotel continues to sent its relentless beats out across the stillness of Weldiya. It is excruciating. How a townspeople can tolerate such noise pollution is difficult to understand. During the day the Lal is a welcome resting place for weary travellers. Its rooms are comfortable and well appointed in...

Stayed here as a party of 4 in may. Ok this is not a international 5 star hotel and you may not get any hot water from the shower. But the bungalows are excellent really comfortable night sleep in beautiful surroundings, restaurant is ok food is decent and staff really helpful. Will stay here again in the future if I...

We stopped in Woldia on our way north from Lalibela. While stopping just there is a reasonable choice, logistically speaking, the town and the hotel lack any particular merit (apart from being the birthplace of the milliardaire Zaki ElAmoudi, but it doesn't show). The hotel is looming, oversize, and shabbily kempt. The food (dinner, breakfast) tolerable. The room was not...

Fortunately we were given tukul number 1 in the grounds of this large, rather shabby-looking hotel. The accommodation in the tukul was very good - 2 large beds, satellite TV, 2 easy chairs and a large bathroom with a good, hot shower. It is at the back of the garden where they grow lots of vegetables. We found the staff very...

They have also bungalows or "villas" behind the main building and this have much better quality then usual hotel rooms. Nothing special but room and bathroom were clean and you have private water boiler at every bungalow so you don't have to worry about hot water. The place could be very noisy due to location at narrow valley. All the...
