A very pretty oasis in Stampriet. The springbok fillet is excellent and the breakfast was also excellent. Service, friendlyness and a cold beer in the swimming pool - all perfect! Rooms are very nice with spacious bathrooms. The matress in our room was a bit old and uncomfortable, but we will definitely be back. The perfect place to stay on...

No other accommodation available in this region, so no comparison. But this guesthouse is nice, in a calm region and well managed. A delicious dinner and good service spend me a respectable time here.

Nice guesthouse in a beautiful garden, with a very friendly and helpful lady of the house. Food and breakfast were made with care. The questhouse is decorated with nice antique things. Everything was very good except at the swimmingpool it could be better, only 2 deckchairs and a not so clean looking pool.

Situated on an elevated position in this one small town it was the ideal stop over from the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park onward to destinations in Namibia. The friendly owners made us feel really welcome.

We only stayed one night in this charming Guesthouse but it was excellent. Homely but professional. Lovely food. We wanted for nothing! Highly recommended! The guesthouse is very comfortable and the people who run it could not be more friendly.

Beautiful and cosy Lodge, furnished with charming details. Our room had a manageable size but with a rustic bathroom and a little terrace in front. The Service was very personal, very friendly in a pleasant ambience. The house bar leaves no wishes open, draft beer, top selection of top wines, great diner and really perfect breakfast. Free Wifi available, a...

A wonderful GH with lots of antique stuff (hence the name Historical GH). Irene is very welcoming and hospitable. Room I was in was well-decorated and had antique water-heater (non-operational) and ablution pots in the bathroom. A great place to laze around, drive into Kalahari to enjoy sunsets, and just have fun in general. Breakfast (included) had good variety. I...

We arrived at Stampriet Historical Guesthouse and were immediately pleasantly surprised. The garden is beautiful - lush, green and well tended. We were made very welcome and indeed, they went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. The food was appetising and well-presented. The staff too were obliging and pleasant. Would highly recommend an overnight stay!
