We are very glad we made the detour through Stampriet. The service was excellent and we were treated like royalty. We enjoyed the friendly banter of a few local farmers who popped in at the small pub.

Roof leaking and we were attacked by fleas. The overall presentation was food and the food was good. I think with a little bit of attention they can get this lace back to what it should be. The lounge and dining are were very good and relaxing.

This is an ideal stop between Sossusvlei and Windhoek. We were so tired of driving the gravel roads when we rolled in around 1:00 PM, and Irene offered a few cold beers to quench our thirst. We loved the homey feel of the guesthouse, the rooms are clean, spacious, and furnished with excellent antiques. There is an inside dining area... More

Run by a warm, friendly and hospitable family, this guest house was a revelation - a true oasis in this semi-desert region. The German antiques added to the ambience, the food was very good, with much of it home grown. The chef was very accommodating as our daughter has very specific dietary requirements. They even picked bunches of grapes from... More

The oasis in the desert, truly so. The management and staff is very helpful and knows the history of the farm. The food was good although the selection, understandably, small. the pool is a must especially in December. The room we were allocated a touch to small, but comfortable.
