WOW. Our hostess was friendly, and helpful. Plenty of WI Fi. Hot mineral pools were brilliant varying in temperature from boil ya wine to Ahhhhhhh bliss. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. AND Only a three minute drive to town

OK so the motel units are only average but they're clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the folk who run the place are friendly and helpful. Its the hot pools that you're here for, and they're great.

Very old, and old furniture. Depressing surrounding. The hosts were very kindly and also the bed was alright. You can hear the neigbours talking and follow their conversation. And If they replace their chair you can hear it very loudly. You can also hear the cars on the road. The windows have a lot of rips, so it was very...

Maybe we struck an off-day here but the service was lacking and the room was very average, although it was clean. The hot pools were relaxing and the kids enjoyed them, however we were glad to only spend one night there. More positively we found it a good spot to stop overnight on our way to Mt Ruapahu and it...

Visited the morning before our stay to be greated by a very attentive couple who was very happy to cater for our needs. We arrived the following night to be greated again by our names and were asked how our trip was as they knew we had done alot of travelling over the weekend. The bed was relaxing in fact...

Unless you are motivated by decor, this motel should tick most of the boxes. It is modestly priced, clean, comfortable, with large well equipped rooms. It is situated in the midst of spectacular scenery, and offers its guests complimentary use of the geothermally heated spa baths (some of which were very warm indeed). The host couple, Bob and Ann are...

I stayed for only one night, and wish I had had more time here. My room was very clean and a generous size (unlike some accommodations which although modern, are fairly tight, especially bathrooms). The lady in charge gave me a free-standing lamp for the double bedroom so I could read in bed. I really enjoyed the hot water here....

By no means the Ritz ! It was more like a batch/ donga than a motel. Could do with a paint job and new mattress. If you are on a Trout fishing trip and are happy to rough it then this is it but could be a bit cheaper. Had the full kitchen amenities which is good but not much...
