When some people think all inclusive, you think the attention to the food will suffer. But the Body Holiday is not one of these places. The food is amazing and plentiful. Healthy, gluten free, nut free, etc. all available. The service and staff are fantastic. They are always there to help and assist and service you and always have a smile on their faces. The body treatments are top notch. The exercise options are unlimited. The beach is beautiful and there is always something to do. My Mother and I will return again and again!
We had a marvelous stay at the BodyHoliday during Jive June 2022. The resort is nestled in a cove in the Cap Estate region (NW) of St. Lucia. There is always something going on at the resort for all levels of activity or relaxation. The food was amazing, including the signature restaurants of I-Tal (farm to table) and Tao (Asian fusion), the staff and BodyGuards (fitness instructors) were extremely attentive, personable and made efforts to get to know us while we were there, the daily massages were relaxing and soothing and we enjoyed activities like wake boarding, beach and pool volleyball, aqua aerobics, tennis, golf, kayaking, walks to nearby coves and overlooks, cycling to Pigeon Island and much, much more. Additionally, the dance classes like Salsa, Grease Choreo and Zumba, most lead by Jennifer during Jive June, are not to be missed! The Tai Chi, meditation, breath work and yoga classes also were phenomenal and their resident instructor for many of those classes, Lindsay, is top notch. The Friday sunset cruise and BBQ were outstanding and the boat was rocking from Rodney Bay and back as a result of an impromptu dance party. The nightly entertainment is different each night and included a silent disco, line dancing, live music, and fire dancers among other things while we were there. The beach is immaculate (the nearby currents keep the Sargassum seaweed away) and hammocks, beach chairs and all other beach needs are available when you want some down time. There are even floating rings in the ocean by the beach that the servers will wade through the water to serve you your desired drink of choice. We originally went to the BodyHoliday for our honeymoon 18 years ago. There have been so many changes that have enhanced the resort since then. On the downside, the rooms were good, but not exceptional (we stayed in the Luxury Ocean View which did have a great view) and the portal for viewing and scheduling activities could be enhanced to be more user friendly. My favorite part of the experience is the community of like minded people that we met who were interested in health and well being. We made some friends that we hope to keep in touch with for years to come. Their motto is true, give us your body for a week and we will give you back your mind. We felt rejuvenated, learned a lot about the mind body connection and tried some new activities we hope to continue during our daily lives. We cannot wait to return.…
I’ve just spent the last ten days at the Bodyholiday and had a fantastic time. I was travelling solo this time and experienced a very friendly reception from staff and other guests. I’ve been coming to the resort regularly for some ten years. I particularly enjoyed the daily inclusive treatments, arranged through Genine and benefitted from my daily gym session, swim and follow up Serenity massage. The number of free activities at this all-inclusive resort was phenomenal and ranged from Archery to Hobie Cat sailing and numerous fitness classes. These included beach fitness sessions under the supervision of the popular former Olympic athlete, Jamie Baluch. I did the Tai Chi classes with the amiable Eugene Edwin and have always found him a great teacher. The beach Ambassadors (Alrick, Orlando) who set up the sun beds with towels and supplied guests with drinks were great. It was quite a sight to see them swim into the sea with a tray of drinks and serving guests on flotation mats in the water. They were able to do this without spilling a drop of the drinks. The standard of food was consistently above average with Tao, (which is worth booking before arrival) being extremely popular. I received good service in Tao and found Anna the manager very welcoming, as was Sera in the Pavilion restaurant. The fact the food and beverage Manager was omnipresent must have helped ensure high standards of F&B service throughout the hotel. Not everything ran perfectly but if If I had any issues, Ginette on the Concierge desk was quick to resolve them, as was the ever helpful Cathy from house keeping. The other managers were quick and sympathetic at resolving any other issues, which the mark of a well run organisation. All in alI in all the staff I’ve mentioned went the ‘extra mile’, had a ‘can do’ attitude and as a result created so much goodwill towards the hotel. I had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back.…
The BodyHoliday This was my first time at The BodyHoliday and only my second all inclusive trip. The property has been in existence for quite some time, however, you would not know it from the buildings and grounds. They are immaculate, beautiful, well-maintained, and feel fresh and well kept. The food was delicious, well prepared, and served with great joy. The bar selections could use some sprucing up, but that did not dampen all the fun I had! The variety of spa treatments and activity options were highly varied and very fun. The bodyguards at The BodyHoliday are a great assortment of energetic and exciting young people. They definitely added to the atmosphere of the active spa resort. As a solo traveler, I very much appreciated the communal table that was available each night for us. I made many new friends that I hope to see on my return trips. As I mentioned before, the staff is outstanding. Specifically, there are quite a few that deserve mention here: Leah, the head of activities, is a powerhouse. She is a great brand ambassador for the BodyHoliday and they are very blessed to have her as part of their team. Outside on the beach, Sam, Orlando, Jessica, and the entire Beach team are tireless in their efforts to keep you hydrated and having fun. The numerous times Sam swam out to the water ring to bring me a beverage were numerous, but he clearly enjoys his days. Starle at the front desk was kind, knowledgeable and very efficient with meeting my needs the first day and getting my dining reservations set up. Lindsey, their Yoga master, led fun and appropriately challenging sessions. My spa treatments were well done and the variety kept me excited for each one. One area where The BodyHoliday could use an upgrade is their website and web experience. As it is presented, you should be able to use their website to schedule your spa treatments, dining, and adventures. Sadly, the website does not function well. In the 21st-century, web presence is key. I believe a good overhaul of their scheduling format would be a substantial upgrade and should be easy to accomplish. One other item that recommends the BodyHoliday are the legions of repeat guests. I would say that roughly 90% of all the people I met on my vacation had been to the resort multiple times. They all spoke of how their families had grown up there, and it is gratifying to know the resort and its team have kept their standards high over all these years. Having just completed a too short six day stay at The BodyHoliday, I am very much looking forward to my return next year. I am plotting my next vacation, even now. I’ve realized that I need to consider at least 10 days for each trip. Just as I was starting to unwind, it was time to go! Thank you, BodyHoliday, for an unforgettable first time vacation with you. It will not be my last!…
Could not fault staff and wanted to bring most home. Lovely place but stuck in COVID quarantine room without aircondition that worked, torn screens, clean own room, across from generators with no view and charged big price for privilege! So many surcharges and gouging unexpected fees when checked out. Didn't want to make a scene like we saw several do everytime we were visiting concierge. Advised we would contact when got home. Trip for five weeks, two of which were st. lucian government quarantine with no spa treatments or activities was just short of $50,000
Not my first visit to the resort and certainly won't be my last! As ever all the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Food excellent and good range of activities. The spa and therapists again are excellent. Really can't fault the resort.
Great experience. Nice room. Beautiful island of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean Sea. Fine amenities. Really nice vacation overall. Tubing is great (sitting on innertubes, getting pulled by fast motorboats).
We recently went to Body Holiday for vacation ! The place is bliss, the activities endless, the spa and the spa staff top rate! The food? forget it! It was out of this world! fantastic!! The staff (every single one of them whether housekeeping, service, activities, restaurant, etc) did everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible, everyone was always happy and friendly! The only thing about body holiday is that it's about 1 hour and 35 minutes from the main international airport, so you have to mentally prepare for a long ride once you land, but totally worth the stay!! Highly recommend!
This resort is top notch. From the rooms to the spa to the staff and food, I can’t say one negative thing. I was so very impressed. The staff were all wonderful, especially Rowan. He made us feel like the only guests at the resort.
I'd originally intended to travel here for "that" landmark birthday, but a global pandemic meant I didn't put my feet in the Saint Lucia sands until June 2022. The BodyHoliday is like no other place in the world. From the moment of arrival, as a guest, you are treated and spoken to like somebody who matters - and that feels authentic. Now for the details. I traveled solo but opted for a bigger room with a balcony and view of the gardens and sea. If you can, treat yourself to this - I was in room 201, so on a fabulous corner. I could have taken turns on my pair of dreamy "oh-so-comfy" Queen-sized beds, but that would not have been fair to the room staff. Rooms were kept really clean, and the turndown evening service complete with herbal teas and mini cookies was a nice touch. Don't be surprised that there are no TVs in the rooms - this is deliberate to keep you mindful and present. But you do get an in-room tablet, mainly for booking and looking at treatments and classes. Bathrooms also good with a powerful shower. I could go on about the lovely food etc, but will focus on my experiences as a solo traveller. In short - it's ideal for that. The evening meet- up in the Piano Bar ahead of communal dining (if you choose to) is genius. We didn't need the staff chaperone, but it's a nice touch and whoever you get is bound to be lovely. Your inclusive treatment list is presented to you on arrival but times of these can be shifted. And the activity list is so crammed you may feel a big sense of FOMO. Treatments and many of the classes are in the stunning and serene wellness temple, but be warned - you have a number of steps to climb in order to get to this sanctuary. A couple of small slip-ups. One treatment hadn't been designated a room, so there was a last-minute flurry of activity while they found a therapist and room, so that felt a bit rushed and awkward - especially when another therapist has to come into the emergency space to find her waxing spatula while I was pretty much naked on the table. And two more things before I conclude on a well-deserved high note. There is some upselling along the way. I was put down for an Ayerverdic consultation, which was more or less an inroad to try and persuade me to sign up for additional treatments. I also went to a posture session which was to sell the services of the bio-mechanics guy on the team. Telling the room that we've all wasted money on Physios and Osteopaths isn't really how you sell yourself! Also, there's no getting around this... the taxi transfer can be a killer. It's between 1 1/2 to two hours and can get very bumpy and nausea-inducing. I had motion sickness for the first time since childhood, so make sure I took a tablet for the return journey. But back to the great stuff. Once I switched off, the vibe is magical. Whether you chose to simply sit on the beach (where the team will sort out your lounger, towels, umbrella, and drinks) or exercise from dusk 'til dawn and back again, this is your place. I absolutely loved meditation, aqua fit and aqua dance, as well as the stretch classes, but next time will be braver and try some new stuff. I cannot wait to return, but will most certainly come for a bit more than a week so I can sample more of what the BodyHoliday has to offer, and see some of the wider island as well.…
