We stayed here one night and will not ever go back. After waiting over 15 minutes to have a wifi and television repaired it was an evidence that the wifi was a myth in that room. When we asked to change room the director was very unpleasant even hinting that we had ... used the beds... I have never encountered...

This was a stop on our Danube cycling trip. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are excellent. We had an ill member of the group and the hotel did everything to assist, including extending the check-out time to coordinate with a train to Vienna. Breakfast was good, but there was no dinner available, however taxis were provided...

We stayed in this beautiful historic place with our children and our family dog the place is very clean and this family operated hotel is very friendly and for coming. Moreover prices are rather pleasant. We would visit again this place with a history dating back 700 years and still owned by the same family.

One rarely gets to have such easy access to a gem of a small hotel , in such an amazing setting. The family management, the food quality and the wine cellar make for a memorable stay, for a single night , to a week. The rooms are special and the interior design is exciting and warm.

I stayed at the Schwab for a night while doing a cycling trip down the Danube (Donauradweg). The location was right in the center of the old town and was well signed from the bike path (easy to find). I loved the room; it was odd-shaped and down a medieval corridor. The food at the restaurant was very nice as...

We stayed in ten hotels on a bike tour from Melk to Budapest and this was an all round favourite with our group. A superb meal and lovely room off the geranium-clad courtyard. Helpful staff. Pure delight

The building is around 600 years old. The family has owned this place for 300 years. And yet we were very comfortable in one of the most charming places I've ever stayed. The restaurant was very good and the ambience was wonderful. I highly recommend a stay in this enchanting guest house

We stayed here on a Danube bike trip for one night in July 13. A small town/very large village worth a quick walk around (say 90 minutes). Hotel Schwann is a little overrated. I regard one small bar of soap between two people as unacceptable - no shampoo never mind gel. WIFI is not available in rooms. The building is...

This very old former inn has been run by the same family since 1749(?). It is a really beautiful old building and very well run. The landlady is a charming cultured Austrian who will make your stay a pleasant one. We had a room in the former stable which was large and well appointed with a good bathroom. Unfortunately the...

Small hotel in historic building in center of town. Rooms are different in size, all recently renovated. Month before our stay à large high water flooded the town but all was already repared. Restaurant is in courtyard of the hotel, you can eat in open air, also inside. There is no lift all rooms on ground floor or 1st floor....

“If you're biking the Donauradweg, note that there are two approaches to the hotel--both are fine. If you go through the entrance near the rotary, there's a Spar (grocery store) right before you get the on path. Excellent opportunity to buy yourself a picnic lunch for the bike trail.”
