Me and 2 friends of mine spent 4 days with NBB taking a freediving course with AIDA. The accommodation was cozy, water and electric supply was constant and stable. The staffs were also friendly and helpful. The most memorable part in this trip was our time spent with our

We stayed here a couple of nights and enjoyed our visit. The cool breezes were very refreshing after the heat of Kota Kinabalu, but this resulted in the sea being choppy which impacted on snorkelling. The coral and range of fish was not the best we have seen around Sabah.

I’ll say first, that the resort is ideal for those looking to relax after a trek, climb, a diving experience or on route to somewhere else. I’d say a maximum stay here would be around a week because it’s quite remote. We got a taxi from Kota Kinabalu at the cost of 25ORM we

As far as I know, there is only one bus at 2:30 PM and it costs more than a shared van. I don't know exactly where the bus terminal is in downtown Kudat.. but the resort is about 30 minutes away. Unless you leave one day early, shared taxi seems like the only option. It will take you about 4 hours to travel to KK from downtown Kudat plus 30 minutes to get to downtown from the resort. You also have to factor in the waiting time. If I were you, I would leave the resort by 7 AM to be safe.

Hello, I guess the most objective answers to your question are contained in reviews here and on other booking site which you may google. Our guests rate cleanliness as 4.5 (from 5) here and 8.3 (from 10) in another booking engine. Both marks account for "very good". We care very much about cleanliness in all the rooms including sure shower/toilet. As I have answered before we DO NOT have bed bugs! Not a single one. We may only assume that those guests were bitten by sand flies. These are tiny flies (2mm) living everywhere in tropics. They come in clouds resulting in many bites. The common reaction is just feeling itchy for half an hour, but some people may have specific allergic reaction. We had quite many guests with small kids and toddlers before and there were no complaints. You may find some of their reviews here.

The 'open air toilet' is only opened where the wall meets the ceiling, so its fine except that birds and bugs will be able to enter the toilet. As for the bed bug, I uploaded a picture of my legs being bitten by bed bug which I believed was not approved. However, I do not know whether there is improvement on the bed bug or whatever bug that bit me issue on my stay there, since the owner seems to protest on the issue. If you intended to bring your 18 months old daughter to the beach at the resort, do be careful as we encountered some broken glass pieces on the beaches, though the owner claimed that they cleaned the beach on daily basis.
