Great location , great potential Stayed here for one night, was definitely one too many, bit rude asking for a fee really, shower block, toilets etc make sure you wipe your feet on the way out, not clean at all. This location has the potential to be a great little site and is let down for reasons I don't know, but if someone took hold it'd be great,
This site is in a prime location and if it was looked after would warrant the £30 per night. However while we all understand that we are living in different times, Steve while a jolly chap was just after the money, we didn’t see any sanitizer, the units were barely 2m apart, the electric hookup would be an electrician’s nightmare. The facilities we used were broken unclean and a disgrace especially when we should all be paying attention to hygiene. Such a shame the location is good stop grabbing the money and spend something on the site
Duty, disgusting toilet, asked to empty diry water onto grass. £30 a night but no facilities. Great location but bad campsite. Man who runs site very rude. Would not recommend staying here. We left yesterday after two nights.
This is by far The most dirty disgusting site ever visited Toliets are filthy and not cleaned Showers are same We were forced to use public toliets up road Managers attitude is abrupt and v aggressive Would never ever consider visiting site again Absolutely discracefull
Ignore the negative reviews! Yes it’s basic but we had a blast here and will definitely be returning. Toilets can be a bit messy at times but that’s because people let their kids run wild! Our party consisted of 3 adults, a teenager and my 68 year old dad and we all was sad to go. Steve the manager is not rude at all!? his old school and people are just a tad stuck up at times! He brought us over a bottle of gas when we ran out and was always asking if we was ok or needed anything and even helped us load our caravan on to the car! Beautiful lake on site, huge outdoor swimming pool up road(sadly closed due to covid) beach is close by and if you walk to the very end there’s a jetty where you can go crabbing.
