This is the 2nd time I've been & stayed at the campsite. 1st was 2014. The shower & toilet block had seen better days & after a rain storm , fully backed up with dirty water , so couldn't be used. We noticed on the Web page that the toilet & showers had been refurbished, so stayed here again for... More

Booked for an easy and inexpensive room, it felt like a cross between university halls and a hotel. Single beds, ensuite bathroom with decent showers, small freeview TV and kettle. Free wifi and parking. Clean and comfy with friendly staff. Good inclusive breakfast. Liked the location a lot, with the water centre, lots of walking and activities around to watch... More

We arrived to a well set out and well maintained site. Unfortunately there had been a huge amount of rain which did result in some areas being waterlogged. The play area was basic but the kids enjoyed it. The table tennis area looked like it had seen better days. The toilets and showers were fine. They were cleaned first thing... More

We stayed in the Camping pods. These are excellent if you don't want the bother of pitching a tent for a couple of nights. The shower block has been renewed and is excellent with good showers and plenty of hot water. Access to the Water Sports is just across the road. Information could be better, the web site answers none... More

We stayed because it was easy to get to Donnington Park. Stayed from Friday to Sunday, but used very few facilities except the toilet block (I think only one). My husband came back from his shower and described it as a trickle and I thought he was joking, but late Saturday night (when no-one else was using the supply) I... More

Great fun, went white water tubing! The instructors were great, very helpful and work hard. You get a lot out of an hour and a half session. Definitely recommend if you're wanting a good day out. Good facilities and a variety of activities on offer.

Somewhere to get your head down, but very basic student type accommodation. I was given a disabled room so the sink was very low with no way of controlling the water temp. Worst of all the bathroom smelt like something had crawled in there to die! Walls very thin so room was noisy. Didn't have breakfast as only started serving... More

Half the price of every other hotel I looked at when booked on line. It's really basic. Room was very small but comfortable and functional. No chair or desk but I found a chair in a corridor :) Great restaurants nearby. Gyms, lake etc. all great for an active and independent person. I would definitely come again. It's not the... More

Visited Home Pierrponte this year , stayed on the campsite , campsite is clean , showers n facilities are basic but clean , straight across the road is the water sports center with things going on most weekends , white water rafting , wake boards , skyclimb , etc .
